Absolutely fabulous work. Lovely seeing a few of my own models get a nice run out. I had no idea that they could look so good running! The weathering is lovely and will email you later regarding it. Best wishes simon
Hi Simon! Funnily enough I just emailed you with lots of photos of your completed locos. Glad your pleased - they're a nice bunch and are very welcome visitors!
A superb video as always, love the close up shots following the locos along the track. LNER liveries are by far the best IMO. All the extra details on the locos, like the flickering firebox, real coal, and lamps make a big difference, Cheers, John.
Your layout is a dream come true. It is beautiful and perfect. You have really caught the soul of the british railways. Tha sound, lively and realistic, superb decorations. Mr Neville, fantastic work!!! Congrats from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Always masterfully filmed and edited with alternating large and close shots, fluid long panoramic and traveling views. As for the quality of the layout, between the beautifully weathered locomotives and rolling stock, the tracks, buildings, scenery and backdrop, it's sometimes difficult to believe all this is in 00 and not 0 scale!
Absolutely wonderful. I think this is your best video yet. Remarkable content, and in proper landscape format too. Very well done. Best regards to you for such fabulous work.
Your videos always bring up a goose skin to me ! Absolute wonderful with this sound ! I have a lot of British lokos and cars too:). Greetz from Germany and thank you for showing !
I'm running out of superlatives Steve but this has to be the best of your amazing collection to date. My personal favourites were 60052 Prince Palatine and a very grimy "Scotsman". Absolutely brilliant, thank you.
Great models! But what really steals the show is your camera work! Very sweeping, very grand, and almost like the old news reels of the past! You ought to make a behind-the-scenes of your camera work!
What can I say Steve, an absolutely stunning production and a great use of the archive and live audio superbly edited throughout. always a pleasure to watch, cheers 👍👍👍
A very nice parade of pacifics. Thanks for posting. What is the one at bottom right at 10:10? It looks odd with the cylinders behind the second axle rather than in front of it.
I have a video very nearly finished that features no less than 3 V2's . Furthermore a P2 has been booked in to my weathering queue and will definetely be filmed! - Watch this space!
Oh for a humble Bachmann split chassis J39! But then it was a great gathering, and you certainly achieved that. Needs to be watched a few times to be appreciated. Your best yet?
I believe Simon made his Pacifics using a RailRoad Flying Scotsman. With major detailing and a full on Neville Grove-ification, those locos can beat up modern standards!
Hi Steve, just liked and subbed, the layout's amazing, as is the videography, if my layout looks half as good when it starts taking shape, I'll be delighted, take care, all the best from Scotland, Stephen.
This one was the adaptable and excellent value Scalescenes downloadable kit. It could go even higher but I had to trim down the piers to suit the track level difference.
I feel very privileged that customers chose to send them to me because they're not mine, all bar 2 of these have just passed through my weathering studio.
It's not a cheap hobby for sure, but this layout was built on a shoestring so you could do the same! The steel arched and girder bridges were built using offcuts of plywood, kebab sticks, cardboard from cereal packets and some scrap MDF. Just cost me £2 for the paint! Only 2 of these locos are actually mine - the rest had just been through my weathering studio.
Excellent express coming through
Isn't there an Oscar, Emmy or BAFTA for this sort of thing? These videos are superlative; a complete joy.......
Haha thanks for the very kind words. It’s enough to know that there’s people out there that enjoy these videos so thanks for commenting 👍
So full of interest and variety - I'm going to have to watch several times!
Please do! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the sounds / visiting locos!
A superb video as always, love the close up shots following the locos along the track. LNER liveries are by far the best IMO. All the extra details on the locos, like the flickering firebox, real coal, and lamps make a big difference, Cheers, John.
These new Hornby A1 / A3's with the metal running plate and flickering fire boxes are sublime models - I genuinley recommend them.
Amazing videography!
...absolutely STUNNING as usual...!!!
Wow, thank you!
Just superb, I’m a big fan of weathering loco’s and stock like this, brilliant
Thanks Grahame, yeah some careful weathering makes such a difference!
Your layout is a dream come true. It is beautiful and perfect. You have really caught the soul of the british railways. Tha sound, lively and realistic, superb decorations. Mr Neville, fantastic work!!! Congrats from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Thank you very much - very nice compliments and too kind. Thanks for watching!
Make sure you watch to end for beautiful shots of Silver Fox!
I'll certainly be doing another video featuring this train at front and centre - i love it!
Absolutely Awesome! One of the best videos I have ever seen. Hard work has paid off.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it 👍👍👍
Que calidad de grabación, e impresionante los detalles de los modelos y maqueta. Deberías tener muchos más suscriptores. Saludos desde Chile 🤩☺️
You always inspire me
Thats amazing thank you so much for commenting and good luck with your projects!
Wow look at all the Gordens
Absolutely stunning!

Thanks very much Jean, all very generous! The layout is still a work in progress and progress is slow! 😅
Another superb video. Model's are stunning.
Thanks Patrick for watching and commenting 👍
Super. And you could give a masterclass in static grass laying too by the look of it.
Fantastic video, beautiful Gresleys 🤩😍👌
They are lovely looking machines 👍
Lovely video. These Pacifics look superb running at speed.
Absolutely wonderful. I think this is your best video yet. Remarkable content, and in proper landscape format too. Very well done. Best regards to you for such fabulous work.
That shot where you cross the tracks in front of the oncoming loco, then follow it.........bloody brilliant!
Amazing video as always ☺ 👍 the hush hush certainly looks a beast when running amongst the others ☺
Thanks - it really is!
You never fail to impress. Loved every min, thank you !
Thanks very much - especially if you watched every minute!
Your videos always bring up a goose skin to me ! Absolute wonderful with this sound ! I have a lot of British lokos and cars too:).
Greetz from Germany and thank you for showing !
Thanks for tuning in - I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Magnifique 👍👍
Absolutely stunning footage, best thing I’ve seen in a long time!
Awesome thank you!!! 👍👍👍
Watching this brought me much joy and pleasure. Thank you.

No thank you Steve for watching and for another generous comment - they’re much appreciated and spur me on to do the next one..
Great models! But what really steals the show is your camera work!

You ought to make a behind-the-scenes of your camera work!
Brilliant
Thanks Paul 👍
What can I say Steve, an absolutely stunning production and a great use of the archive and live audio superbly edited throughout. always a pleasure to watch, cheers 👍👍👍
Good Lord, I thought it was real, very impressive, love the sound effects.

Brilliant vid, thanks for posting
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching!
A very nice parade of pacifics. Thanks for posting.
What is the one at bottom right at 10:10? It looks odd with the cylinders behind the second axle rather than in front of it.
Probably my Thompson A2/3 Sun Castle 👍👍👍
0:12 it's Spencer
That’s hush hush not spencer
And spencer is A4 number 2509
This has got to be one of your best videos yet! Now how about a varsity of V2s and/or a prile of P1s and P2s ?
I have a video very nearly finished that features no less than 3 V2's . Furthermore a P2 has been booked in to my weathering queue and will definetely be filmed! - Watch this space!
Oh for a humble Bachmann split chassis J39! But then it was a great gathering, and you certainly achieved that. Needs to be watched a few times to be appreciated. Your best yet?
Yes indeed! Funnily enough I've only had Pacifics sent to me for weathering recently - the W1 at the end is from the homefleet along with Cicero.
The one at the end reminds me of my childhood because when I was younger I called it a flying sausage 😂😂
Hahaha 🤣 I think the W1 was even nicknamed the “Galloping Sausage”
Great video Very realistic. but what about Gordon/North Western Railway Number 4?
Thanks 👍👍👍
How on earth do you film these? Absolutely stunning camera work as always.
Haha cheers Matthew - with lots of patience and numerous silly poses…
It'd be fun to see any out-takes aka bloopers. By the way, every video is superb in both form and content!
Lovely gathering indeed❤ Regards Elizabeth Lines
3:05. Certainly curious as to the Red nameplate. I wonder if that happened to the A3's irl.
❤ Flying Scotsman and the Teaks
I believe Simon made his Pacifics using a RailRoad Flying Scotsman. With major detailing and a full on Neville Grove-ification, those locos can beat up modern standards!
The 45 is my favourite
We must not forget that Gresley had created many types of locomotives long before LNER.
Indeed he did, not often seen in model form either.
Let's see your big boy running again.
It’s not mine, but I do have a widescreen video in the pipeline - watch this space.
Hi Steve, just liked and subbed, the layout's amazing, as is the videography, if my layout looks half as good when it starts taking shape, I'll be delighted, take care, all the best from Scotland, Stephen.
I want to make a viaduct that's 180 feet high irl at 00 gauge. It'll be about 2 foot 3. Any thoughts?
This one was the adaptable and excellent value Scalescenes downloadable kit. It could go even higher but I had to trim down the piers to suit the track level difference.
Stunning footage, the A3s and A4s are my favourite steam locomotives of all time. I own the smokebox number and nameplate to Neil Gow 60082/2581
Thanks very much, amazing to have such an item in your collection 👍
I've recently bought one of the plates to 60105 Victor Wild too.
I can show you the pictures of you have an email address? Anyway, thanks for your kind words.
would it be possible to get a shot of the engine going over the camera
OMG humorist is absolutely fabulous❤❤❤
Did you use the Hornby railroad flying Scotsman shell?
Is the A1 with peppercorn smoke deflectors custom made or is it just part of the model?
May i ask? How does it feel having these trains?
I feel very privileged that customers chose to send them to me because they're not mine, all bar 2 of these have just passed through my weathering studio.
@@NEVILLEGROVE i see
Cool
I wish I could have a cool set up like this but it would be way too expensive to require all of that stuff
No st frusquin?
Huh, Where is NWR 4, did he lost his way again?
It's sad that none of Sir Nigel's A3s, besides Flying Scotsman, survived the cutters torch.
Very nice BUT I'd appreciate several of the conspicuously missing SEMAPHORES!
Now your talking…
Great video
