How much longer does Hayes have a job when he has similar past issues of grooming; Alicia Foxx and Rosa Mendes. A subliminal message that they knew about his fetishes? - The incidents from two years ago - The Ashley Massaro bullying - This latest incident. It has been going on for four decades now. Not really a shocker that it's finally catching up to Vince.

Personal behaviour aside; the dumbest move Vince McMahon made was allowing WWE to become a publicly traded company. It should have remained a McMahon entity and been run by McMahons and McMahons only. Vince should have never sold to TKO and WWE should have been passed down to Shane and Stephanie the way his father passed it down to him, and then to their children after that, and so on. The Wild West days of the WWF were far more appealing to most old school fans and part of the problem IS today's climate! The standards of 2024 have grown ridiculous and nowadays everyone is looking to out somebody for something. What Vince did in this case is above and beyond the acceptable, clearly, but we don't know the full facts and her text responses to him will certainly paint a bigger picture. Either way, if I had the chance to hop on a time machine back to the glory days of wrestling and the WWF when what happened on the road stayed on the road, I definitely would. Cody is going against Seth at WM. Cody was not beating Reigns at WM. They want him to beat Hogan's streak, which means Cody would have had to lose 2 times against Reigns at WM back to back. Cody didn't need to win the title at WM either. Now, he'll beat Seth. Even if he didn't beat Seth it might have looked bad for him to lose to Reigns again like this and he would have been in a better place beating someone else in a high profile match.

Dave Dudley over here, They fuckin have Benoit is still on the network , Let's not pretend they are going to erase jack shit
They just made it so you can't search for him on the network, the absolute minimum they were willing to do
Gives his virgin audience something to be giddy about but I guess they forget that this guy knows nothing.
@@petemaddox1716They shouldn’t do anything more than that. I don’t know why people think there was something honorable about Vince deleting Benoit. There was nothing honorable or principled about it.
Deleting Benoit was Vince washing his hands of the situation. It was “out of sight, out of mind”. Hardly a principled thing to do.
Why would deleting Vince be seen as a good thing, rather than the company saying “Hey if ya don’t see em on any of our old stuff, it’s like he never existed, right?”. That’s a slap in the face to the victims.
What in your opinion is good about erasing someone from history, outside of distancing themselves from wrong doing? There’s nothing honorable about a company doing that. It’s just covering their own asses.

It's funny 'cos Austin/McMahon is the vanguard of wrestling angles, like there are elements of even Andre/Hogan and Flair/Funk or Flair/Rhodes that don't compare. I don't see how you can feasibly erase Vince from the WWE catalogue, even down to random RAW episodes he was doing play-by-play for.

I doubt they're going to butcher up and neuter their product in an attempt to do something that they know is literally impossible for literally no good reason whatsoever. It goes against everything I've come to know about Ari's approach to business. Unless they've said otherwise I'm sure that "erasing Vince from WWE" most likely means is just not acknowledging he even exists or ever did from this point onwards

I remember how little F4W covered Vince once Levesque took charge of creative. Even as he muscled his way back onto the board, got revenge by dismissing any disloyal members, and obviously still had pull with Creative. Everything was positive for WWE, all good news while generating clicks over how disfunctional AEW was. Where was the outrage this whole time?
Remember when WWE fans were laughing at AEW fans when Cody was still in, "Fight Forever..............."
How much longer does Hayes have a job when he has similar past issues of grooming; Alicia Foxx and Rosa Mendes. Everybody is so quick to show Bruce the door, even though there's no evidence other than Bruce was Vince's #1 right hand creatively, when Hayes has those documented issues with Foxx and Mendes and not a peep. I would be looking more into Michael P Hayes related to this.
Terry Taylor has had racism and sexual harassment incidents against him in all three companies he was employed at. Yet he got hired in WWE as a lieutenant for Triple H at the performance center.

Shane left because of his Dad.
A subset of the wrestling audience of today leaves FAR more to be desired in many ways!
greed
I agree with you about how McMahon should have passed the company down just as his grandfather and his dad did before him. But Vince was too egotistical and wanted the acclaim that went with being a publicly traded company, and the additional billions $ that came with the sale.
