If you dont know this LDF, Arven (from the trainer card) has a Mabostiff as his pokemon that he wanted to cure from his sickness by finding the mysterious herba mystica with the help of the player.
Also, zard ex is still an evolution pokemon, devolution is one of the few weaknesses of the zard deck. Giving all the candies to your fire lizard then suddenly you reverse uno a devolution and all of his efforts are going to waste.
Devolution is how I shit on zard with lost box. Get 10 in lost zone. Use and recycle sableye to get damage counters on evos equal to the basic/stage1 hp....then devo. Lol total domination.

I did this card with the Dodrio in stead of Gengar. Just for a good one prize attacker and a draw engine that can put damage on itself
I'd love to someday see cards for Mabostiff, Dachsbun and Houndstone that synergize. They feel like a trio and it would be cool to have a united-wings style attack that brings them together, something about a dog pack perhaps...

I love the idea behind this list! Maybe you could also run this with single prize mabosstiff with the gust ability and you could have some crazy aggressive turns

Dodrio is what i waa expecting to see you pair this with after reading the move. Gives you a draw systems as well as powering up the main attack

I wasnt running this with gapejaw, i was running it with dodrio to get easy damage on not all of my pokemon.
