  • The Ancients, is not just a time lapse video. It is a saga depicting the spiritual communion of the Oldest of land and the Ethereals above in Red Central Australia. It tells the story of the great spiritual landscape experiencing different seasons across the year. The video features Australian icons that have existed from Devonian to Ediacaran ages ranging from 359-635 million years old.
The old and beautiful Uluru comes face to face with lightning, rain and thunderstorms. The Outback night sky gleams with Millions of stars when the 13.2 billion year old Milky way Galaxy takes the center stage and rises behind Uluru and sets behind Kata Tjuta.Lightning storms batter the landscape, thunderstorms pass above Uluru. Mt conor gets dusted by Sandstorm. Sunsets behind KataTjuta, moonlit landscape at at Ellery Creek waterhole, and McDonnell ranges and much more are part of this video.
The music in the video has slow moody and emotional start and gradually breaks into intense
orchestral music with choral female soprano voice. The music is composed by super talented music producer Ramazan Yuksel. It has been licensed through the links below.

It's so difficult to explain the spirituality you feel standing in the presence of Uluru to anyone who has never witnessed it in person but your exceptional skill has put that feeling into pictures so beautifully ... no further explanation required, just watch and enjoy :)

What absolutely made this for - irrespective of the visual brilliance - was your thanks to the first nation's people in your credits. We are going against their wishes in photographing Uluru. This challenges me deeply as someone who long ago made a life mission of capturing the visual splendour of Australia. I can't reconcile the 2 opposing views. :-(

Excellent work mate! One question.. While there does the sky (milky way) appear like this to the naked eye?... Might be a foolish question but i must know! lol

8 months late with an answer - but the answer is yes, you can see it like that. You can watch satellites stream across the sky too.

I love the video but am so dissapointed that the sounds do not represent the true indigeneous people of Australia the true owners of the land. You represented beautiful images of their sacred places but I never heard in the soundtrack one didgerido the real sound of Australia it sound to me like sounds from other cultures not real Australians who are the real owners of this land and the sacred lands you showed. To me this was a white mans representation of what Australia is really about.
