      He took drugs. He had a real, severe reaction. EMS cannot ignore that reaction and refuse to treat him, nor can the teachers, faculty, and the SRO.
      He will get treated, and then be fit enough to face charges.
      Just because you don't like what someone does, it doesn't mean you treat them inhumanely. Otherwise, you're worse than them. You, in your right mind, choose to harm them, vs them on drugs, acting out in a way they didn't know they would.

If for anyone that’s concerned with what’s the cart it’s a vaping machine you put a oil stick in it, and as you press the button, it would heat up the oil and allow the oil to turn into vapors which you inhale.

    I think the kid realized that he really hurt that woman badly and is faking it!!!! This society MUST get back to holding these people accountable!!! That young man only freaks out on a certain teacher and he remembers his actions perfectly. He knows what to say and that he “thought “ he was in a dream. He absolutely knows the difference between reality and his supposed “dream state”. I’ve been a nurse for 30 years and usually people that have psychotic breaks can’t tell the difference between real and imagined. They are scared and confused. This young man knows exactly what happened and is even correcting people in the facts of the occurrence. He’s not attacking anyone except the one teacher! Something really feels wrong about this. I hope and pray that the teacher recovers FULLY and that if the student did this knowingly, that he is held accountable!!! He hurt that woman badly and I can’t help but think that he knew exactly what he was doing!!!

His total recall twenty min In shows he was not having a psychotic break and also during a outbreak as you said people are paranoid suspicious and unable to be soothed usually. They are afraid of everyone and everything. So this to me was a complete act especially when I saw his fists ball up at 4:31 in the clip … and that’s when the school resource officer first corners him in the office he was deciding whether to fight or flight. He then laid it on thick about playing psychotic. Am I dreaming ? It’s a card it’s 42 no 43 ?! Total nonsense!

      I think he was just having a panic attack after hitting the cart, then likely attacked the teacher after she allegedly mentioned calling the cops, which... who knows if she actually said that?She may very well have just been talking about getting someone to check the kid out. I think he's being partially truthful in the sense that panic attacks brought on by weed, especially with the concentrations of THC nowadays, can really make you freak out and alter your perception where I could see someone describe the feeling as 'feeling like I'm in a dream'.
      I think you're right though, in that the specific language he used makes it clear that he's not and he wasn't in a truly psychotic state of the type that might provide a viable defense. It's more likely he just freaked out and make an extremely stupid decision to 'end the threat' of the teacher calling the cops (not that is a huge threat or even remotely worth hitting people for, but hey the kid is clearly dumb as hell)
      IMO all signs point to panic attack brought on by the cart hitting him all at once. It's definitely possible to be basically incomprehensible when you're panicking, as well as too scatterbrained due to fear to be able to hold concepts in your mind. That level of sheer panic usually doesn't last for very long, and it tends to come in waves (especially if you're high af) which IMO explains how he was able to use some degree of logic and try to correct stuff in between reality testing and crying

      Horrific thing to see. I’m in the UK but seeing American students deal with daily life like this is horrific. I understand people saying “sue the parents” but I have seen terrible behaviour being blamed on parents who can’t always be blamed for their child’s behaviour. What a terrible world we are living in if this is how young adults deal with life’s challenges. Future generations don’t stand a chance.

    • @aftersexhighfives
      @aftersexhighfives 3 месяца назад

      @@AndreaWilkinson-pc6qw I disagree. It all falls on the parent. They raised that ameoba of a newborn into an absolute terror. There's no discipline anymore. It's not a societal norm in the States. In fact, they call it being institutionalized and think it's a bad thing overall. Because it's mildly indicative of having been in jail for a long time. No one ever thinks military. But this falls on the parents 110% raising three, I could immediately see what behavior was not going to age up well and have made it a point to talk out their reaction, thoughts and what the nicer way to communicate or exactly why something is a certain way. No open ended wondering as much as I can mitigate. We talk every detail out. "Honey, Those are inside thoughts we don't say out loud" is generally the funniest one. Kids say some hilariously honest things. But no. It falls to the parent. A grown up tantrum is because it worked when they were figuring out the world and nobody communicated with them how it's less than desirable behavior. Use your words. Accept no is a complete sentence.

      Also this is a generational problem starting with gen x. Once the TV entered the home it became the nanny and primary parent to way too many households. Generational problems grow exponentially with each generation. The TV is still raising too many kids. TV is very selfish, the stories unrelated to real life. But it's all most kids know as their positive social interaction. School is always negative, bullying or bullets it's kid jail that tests you on memorization more than critical thinking. It's mostly negative other than it teaches kids the world can be extra cruel for no reason. They go home and the TV never makes fun of them. Never makes them feel bad. Never asks much of them. Maybe to get up and dance. Now tablets... everything on demand. Patience isn't part of life anymore, it's learned now. It's a mess. I could write 90 pages on it.

    This student is probably on an IEP, which means he’s in Special Education and has been identified as having a “disability “ of some kind. Disciplining one of these kids is a whole different ballgame, and violating an IEP could well end in a major lawsuit for the school system. The teacher hugging and coddling him knew exactly what she was doing. She was doing her best to keep him calm. Yes, he was doing plenty of manipulating, but if not appeased in that situation, he could have done further harm to others within his reach before the police got there. I know it’s maddening, but it is fact. If the teacher presses charges against a student on an IEP, their defense is that they have a disability, and one cannot be punished for having a disability. It gets really complicated, friends. His heart rate was 170 and he was in fight or flight mode, and he was high on something-all of that coupled with low intelligence. It is not wise to be confrontational with an individual under these circumstances.
