Powerful second half of the song. I saw it on the Daily Show. The way he beats the hell out of the drums in the second half is awesome.
As an atheist,I like the motif of not reaching heaven. Given the fact that its fake someone might as well right a song about it.

I didn't mean it in a bad way...I love both bands. The guitar part after the piano intro reminds me something the Edge would play...something simple and loud. I think since using Brian Eno as producer they keep sounding like them even more, but in their own way.

This isnt U2-ish!!!!
If anything its a bit Radiohead-ish...
Its get the slow start, the really atmospheric strings/vocals, then the rockier section.
Like Paranoid Android practically.
