Oh man. I remember playing Magic Duels Origins almost 8 years ago, watching your videos religiously. Just got into Arena and back into Magic in general and looked you up first thing. Just hearing that intro and your voice hits me with so much nostalgia. I'm glad your still out here being a legend!
27:21 - Playing the second Agrus from hand means you get a suspect trigger on the adversary, but you can choose via the legend rule to keep the Agrus that can still attack. Attacking produces another suspect trigger, and you can either apply it to Godrick so neither of their creatures can block, or to Agrus himself to give him menace for guaranteed damage. Either way, stacking suspect triggers is a really interesting way of punching through the damage when the board is clogged up.
As always the matchmaker demonstrates why it's my main reason for having greatly pulled back playing MTGA. You make a deck to go against vast swaths of the meta, always end up playing a majority of mirror archetypes/colors. Still, great video!
Was about to quit on MTGA switched to Bo3 and discovered it's worth your time. It really feels like playing real paper magic. I really loved Bo1 cuz it's so quick but there is just so many none games in which either your opponent or you get completely screwed over by the shuffler
One feature I like about this deck is that, for whatever reason, you're inclined while playing it to just attack for the win when attacking for the win is available, instead of doing a bunch of fancy stuff & funny business first on a turn that's going to be final :P
I played this deck without Inti because I lack wildcards, swapped it out for lightning helix, and I found not having that pump effect kept my creatures consistently unblockable. The added lifegain from helix was also very useful, would recommend if on a budget, or looking for an aggro burn list.
I think it's funny that you mention people not knowing how ward interacts with uncounterable spells when Long Goodbye literally says "This spell can't be countered" followed by "This includes by the Ward ability."
I feel like the vampire cleric that makes bat tokens would be gas in this deck, both the token-making trigger and the attacking damage trigger would double right? Poggers
There's a visual bug in Arena where some damage is counted twice if the opponent concedes at the same time damage is being applied. Doesn't actually impact anything since opponent has already conceded.
@4nc3st0r when I think of uncounterable, I think of counterspells. I just didn't make the connection to ward costs. It's an honest mistake that I could see alot of players making.
@@KRE112178 yeah absolutely, I see how that can happen (and it does happen), still, my question stands :) really, I didn’t want to be rude or bait for anything. Just an honest question.
@@4nc3st0r My guess is people think that it can't be targeted unless the ward cost is paid. They think of it as like Hexproof that you're turning off.
Agrus is removal for an aggro deck!? That is so gas! Love Delney as well! I want to make a commander deck with them! Appreciate you Luca! This deck is awesome!!!
Another Fanboy from your duels days Wouldn t it be the smarter choice to name Detective with Cavern of Souls ? More Detectives than Spirits in the deck
It was mostly assuming you already have one Cavern naming Human, then Spirit is likely the best choice. But you're right we do have a few other detectives.
That dude playing mono black on match 3. Hum a question for ppl playing the same boring ass deck, how do you have fun playing that, exactly? I mean ppl spamming board wipes and removal on MTGA are the most bored ppl on the planet.
Truly I've never understood the appeal of just going NOPE to my opponent repeatedly, they just destroy everything with one card while I'm building something each turn. Hate it as a way of playing.

I knew someone would find a good way to break agrus. I didn't even think about Delney. I love it!
Really? It was the first thing I thought of when I started seeing spoilers.
Delney was a day one add in MULTIPLE decks. Glad to see it getting some shine.
Big fan of Delney
Same!! I plan on building an EDH with them as the commander! 😄

Small of power, big of booty ✊😔
Cool looking deck. Nice work building around the new cards. Thanks for the great content.

"How bout you just play mono-white?"

kinda a fan of Delney
Delney definitely is the card of all times

You expect people to read that 😅

Why did opponent go down to 3 from 9 at 33:20? They should have only taken 4, not 6 right?

Almost a big fan of Delney
9:47 I would've sent Stormseeker to slap Jace just out of spite.
I believe that Delney is a card

Can a detectives tribal deck be viable in standard?
Players really need to learn how to read their cards before playing them. Match 3 is a perfect example.
He even states that not everyone knows about how ward works with uncounterable. I didn't know uncounterable negates a ward cost either.
@@KRE112178 not to be mean, just curious: what did you think ward does to an effect if the ward cost is not paid?

is this the wrong title? i don't understand it if not :-(

15:14 now i know
I have no feelings on Delney
hot take
😊
No Market gnome?
ok then...
Also... Delney can break Fynn decks pretty easily...
I prefer not to play a 0/3 in an aggro deck.
sussy
cool deck, but like 90% of new brews, way too fair for the current meta

What’s with all the Delney hate in the comments?
Delney was recently canceled on twitter for their not so streetwise (and insensitive) remarks about the Simic guild. hope that helps.
Every time I see LVD play with Reckless Stormseeker it grossly overperforms.
