tyrol in general is a skiing paradise, i remember going every weekend when i was younger, skiwelt is actually in the top ten of biggest ski areas in the world you could spend a whole winter and never ride a slope twice
Best stoke film of the year so far! And it's a 10 month old youtube from a german speaker I can't stop watching. These guys are sick, but props to the editor he's the one really doing a triple-rodeo-cork of a job cutting this.
@@TheSlipperySlope I mean, I have those skis with less cool top plates, I have that drone but last years model. Seems easy to me cause I love and excel at those things. But to open adobe premiere without an update causing you to throw your keyboard out the window, impossible, literal witchcraft. But the phone cut is so goddamn clean I've literally replayed it 10x to check it's not a stock effect. But there's your dried meat and beer.
You have my new favorite channel by far after going back and watching every video. There's not too many freeride ski vlogs from the Alps. Seems like you caught something in the youtube algorithm with your avalanche video- probably the title and the thumbnail. Please keep it up this winter
Rad edit, always cool to see the terrain outside of my home here in Canada. Surprised to see that great T-shirt too, curious what brought you to Vancouver Island?
Really great video! I'd love to go there! Interesting how the south side of the great divide piles more snow, I would have gone for the north side just for low sun impact but deeper powder always wins!
Hammer Video. In welchem Gebiet seid ihr genau gefahren? Müsstet ihr zu den Waldbereichen wandern oder waren diese direkt neben den normalen Pistenabschnitte?
It can snow a lot but general speaking less then than North A. or Canada. Depends where the storm comes from we still get a good amount in the right valleys ;) 6 weeks is a bit long but definitely it got longer between storms.
How would you know, you've clearly never lived in the Alps? I used to live in Tignes. 2.5m a night for 11 days in January. The amount of snow was unreal, the downhill descent is longer and steeper.
St Anton is in Tyrol area? i just went there last month. Frankly, it's not the most amazing ski resort i've skiied. but do you have any recommendations for the place in Europe?
Epic footage, no doubt. But don't you think you are scaring pets to death when rushing through their winter nests? 🤔😤 I therefore stopped off-pist skiing. During winter when the mountains are covered by snow the nature takes a rest. ☝🏿
@@tnkl9230 I ve been to Hokkaido two weeks and there was enough snow, but - shitty weather almost every day - for the most part very short runs - too crowded and thus tracked out in a couple of hours
@@tnkl9230 we ve been to Furano, Niseko, Rusutsu, Kamui and Asahidake (was the best imho). Shitty weather means rain, foggy and little snow fall. So basically bad weather without big snowfalls. In total maybe 1 day of sunshine

Incredible footage, reminds me of some of my best snow days in western Canada.
Thanks man! Working on it 😅. Lotsa content to come.
I only realized now that it's called East Tyrol, not Eastern Tyrol 🙈🤦♂😅
F**k! That was so epic that I’m speechless 😲 I’ve never thought that one can actually ride off-pist so steep and wooded. Rock on🤙🏻
Great film! Like a proper ski film!
Such good content man, so happy that i found your channel!
Didn't know Toto Wolff had a secret ski channel. Sweet.

I should probably give the editor a raise

That and when did german speakers learn humor, that's new and concerning.
we are austrians this is differnet to germans.
for real, the opening could have been from a Bond movie. Seriously impressive filming, editing, everything!
that was literally the best ski video i have ever watched
Und auch echt sehr gut produziert 🔥
Love the history lesson and Weather pattern explanation at the start. Cheers!
Good format! Like the casual talk about all things skiing. Greets from Switzerland.
Man that beer looks so tasty! Taking my GF to Tyrol this Feb, hope it's a good snow year!
Underrated channel, your content is great!
RUclipsr IWrocker reacted to your video and that's how I found you! I will share this with my GF who loves skiing :-)
Haha thanks!!! I just watched his review.
Fantastic video guys!
wonderful video! and I love the geografic/geopolitics intriduction !
Oh my goodness. I definitely want to go ride there!! Those pow runs look insane! 👍🏻
This was awesome video, U.S. Wish I still had my Sohler Spyder Bluebird 225s.
Mega Video! Das Intro ist der Hammer🤩 Und der Rest macht richtig Lust auf Powder 😁

Jeez! That tree skiing with 2 meters of fresh snow is what we have to do there? Wish I had kept my 1966 Pinzgauer 710M!

Funny! Amazing glade skiing!! Why no mention of exactly where you were?! 😮
i live in tirol and iam good skier, but this guys are insane hahahahahahaha

That steep section reminds me of the gunbarrels in harmony... But much longer and with some nicer trees after 👍
And a shorter liftline after 😉

Unreal
Awesome VIDEO. Loved to see the exitement and pure joy. Would love a day where the last clip was filmed. How is that precise Area called?
Lol 😜 Thank you for such great English language for a great video.
Where was that last run! I need that in my life this season! Mega geil!
Really good content deserving a lot more views. I am wondering, what are some ski-resorts called in Osttirol? Thanks :)

Really great video! I'd love to go there! Interesting how the south side of the great divide piles more snow, I would have gone for the north side just for low sun impact but deeper powder always wins!
The southern storms usually brings more snow because the medetteranian sea gives a lot of moisture before the storms come to the alps
@@oskarsimufredriksson9866 That makes sense. I live on the coast of Alaska & we get tons of moisture off of the sea.
Fucking excellent stuff!! More please!
Would love some information on the gear you're using. Danke.

Amazing video! What is the name of the last resort that you were skiing ⛷️ ?🎉
Kals-Matrei Gross Glockner Resort. The place is amazing. Went 12 times last season.
Which resorts do you can recommend?
Great video btw
That‘s Goldried Matrei in Osttirol i live there
He was also at Skizentrum Sillian Hochpustertal
Awesome content. What's the name of the resorts?
Wie kommst du zu den Liften wieder zurück?
Sehr leiwond das Tiefschnee fahren
7:35 😂😂😂
Where did you learn that? 🤷🏾♂️
Problem with Europe is it doesn't snow very much there. It may be like 6 weeks between a good storm.

what are the resorts is the ost tyrol cheaper?
Will December be good for those resorts you went? Which resorts will you recommend?
While one can be lucky in Dec, likelihood of sufficient snow is medium.
Rather strive for Jan-Mar.
You've been to Tofino in Canada?
witch time of the year where u guys there?
whats the name of the second resort you skied
Kals-Matrei Gross Glockner Resort. The place is amazing, I was there over a dozen times last winter and plan on dozens more this season.
Why no names of the skiing places?
which resorts did you visit in this video?
Also, what resorts in East Tyrol provide the biggest challenge for advanced/expert skiers?
Sillian and Matrei. Matrei has lotsa steep terrain.

What drone are you using and what camera are you using for the tripod setup?
This one was with a Mavic 2 Pro and Sony a7Siii.

Do you film with a helmet mount?
Yes. Chest mount is a better angle but it’s such a pain in the ass 😅.
Does chest mount work with snowboarding as well ?
wo isn des ois
South Tyrol which is “NOW” Italy 😒
Maybe next time unstrap your ABS handle... take a freeride course... before it's to late ... Ride safe

I agree. Most Japan resorts does not have snow making machines, and snowing period has become much shorter, it means lack of snow. Agree?
