Do you know what makes yuumi bad rn? I love playing her, but she feels so underwhelming at the moment…
they removed her buff on allies youre attached to.. they dont become powered up only by items you buy ;(
There are many reasons. But mostly the issue is her "Best Friend" mechanic. Basically you dont want to sit on anyone while they farming minions so that you dont increment those stacks. Imagine you in bot lane and you played right. Now you have only 10 friend stacks on the adc. If you notice he is a muppet and there is an actual carry on your team you would want to support that person. And now you only need to witness 11 minions die for that player to become your best friend.
Essentially that mechanic is a huge "fuck you" from riot which incentivizes you to actually avoid sitting on your bot laner so that you dont permanently lock half of the power of your kit away
