Prince Not really. The Miz dominated the beginning of the year and CM Punk dominated the end. Cena and Rock was pretty much Cena’s main storyline for that whole year and then some. 2005- 2008 would probably be Cena’s prime as far a wins over loses in key matches. He did win titles, but that’s probably because WWE didn’t have anyone better Face to put the title on post 2010.

If you have to shoehorn a title into a storyline to make it interesting that means your writing isn't good enough. Most of the greatest matches of all time aren't Championship matches. And this game's Mania 27 was so much better than the real one.

Rewatch Wrestlemania 27. It's pretty awful.
Each era of WWE games brought something to the table, & the SVR Series alongside this game gave us compelling RTWM stories that are iconic. Even today these fantasy stories are really fun to watch & play through. While modern day games are just now starting to create original stories that are more fun, nothing quite compares to this.
What a surprise, HHH buries everyone in his cutscenes.

I loved this year of RTWM because it wasnt the same 3 months of Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania. Storylines, the best ones anyway, are long-term and thought-out. They aren't thrown-together messes. Every Pay-Per-View with the exception of Night of Champions and Hell In A Cell was showcased. It was amazing and I wish they could bring it back even if only for one game. A Shield Reunion, a full NXT Invasion, Cena's 17th, and whatever madness you can come up with can be put into the game. I'd pay $60 just for that.

This game started development when he was on commentary. If WWE 13 had this story, Punk would probably be in the place of Sheamus as the Villain Story as that would have been after the Summer of Punk.

Sheamus has every title in WWE. That means either every title isn't getting defended ever or he's having multiple PPV matches per night. He'll probably vacate the tag titles, but other than that....
The point is with Sheamus as every champion, it'll get boring really quickly.
Which is why people don't have multiple titles for very long usually.
Rollins only had the US title for a month, for example.
