Wang Liqin does not have a pretty game, but he sure gets the job done with his technique, speed and power. Actually, some of his loop kills look effortlessly smooth, where you'll see most other players look like they're straining a bit. Timo looked almost underprepared and a step slow this match.
This might be a silly question, but can Timo see the ball the whole time when Wang Liqin served? it look like an old style of services where all players were allowed to hide the ball when serve.
yuhai zhang There must be some agreement among the top players that you can muck with the serve rules as much as you care to, as long as your opponent is free to do so as well? "Project the ball as near to vertical as possible" in no way describes most of the serves in this competition. Even in this simple requirement, his serve is illegal.
I would like to see a good meaningful handshake, a hug or something more affectionate between the participants after the game. Love is not language dependent either. I'm not feeling this quick handshake and onto the next one attitude, i see all the time. In my opinion it isn't good enough for this amazing sport.
+djmaleda lol tabletennis is a fucking rage-kiddy sport....never ever will you see this kind of fairplay! 90% of the players in amateur leagues blame anything but themselfs when they lose and screem all the time when they make a mistake.....dont get me wrong i love tabletennis, but the ppl who play is are 90% trash kids who cant even play propperly
+djmaleda i dont know how it is with the pros, im just talking about my own experiences! i consider it as fucking unmannered if you scream after your own mistake! i guess the pros dont do this because they ahve a different mind set, but still you cant expect them to happily hug their opponent after losing^^
Dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can stream all the latest movies on Instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last days =)
you can be the best player in the world ,but when your nervous step up in your mind knowing you are playing one of the best in the world ,you have to focus two times better, also your mental power as to be very strong,,,chinese go to school to strenght the mental power for these top classes...tim boll lost his will power to fight, nervous was his problem.
The reasons y timo boll loses all games is because he thinks too much tactics nd fails to implement his theories in the game like a lot of book knowledge. While the chinese play with the flow.
Shielding and applying spin before hitting is illegal. The ball need to be at least 15 cm(7 inch), as straight up as possible. But the umpire can not see if the ball is hidden from his position. I am an umpire and you really can't see if the ball is tossed straight, neither if it is hidden for the oponnent. Sorry comment so late on you post :)
novids96 Interesting. That is a flow in the game then. I hate the idea of adding another umpire or cameras to combat this possible issue. It takes something away from the game, much like football.
nice quality, thanks for the upload!
4:19 the guy in the background lol

WLQ so fast playing !! amazing !

His technique is to use an illegal serve. Helps to more easily win you points...
How many times wangs serve hitting on the net... imaging it is a tennis game

I LOVE TIMO BOLL EVEN THOUGH I PLAY BY RIGHT HAND :D
although being a Chinese fan to Wang Liqin, I think his service is covert, against the rules, isn't it?
I had that same feeling - some aspect of his serve should be made illegal, it's very hidden.

My comment is in reference to the pros. What's their excuse?

+dennis fook totaly agree, alot of ppl including me has this problem alot
is das nicht normal, das mann den spin am stempel des balles sieht ?
also ich weis nicht ich sah das auch :D
I agree the way the Chinese in particular just slap the hand after a match is tantamount to bad sportsmanship.
voll krass
good
Timo Boll
Name me a player with a better forehand than WLQ
ma long forehand is equal if he is on fire, no one can handle
The reasons y timo boll loses all games is because he thinks too much tactics nd fails to implement his theories in the game like a lot of book knowledge. While the chinese play with the flow.
im sure that was wang liquin including diet

Timo Boll, halt der beste.
Boll issn Versager
dude i go to cleveland state haha
HAHA 4:22 the guy in the back :D
Wang's serve is surely illegal. I thought shielding, applying spin before striking and high tosses on serve were against the rules.

das ist sogar nicht das richtige Profilebild von Wang, liqin, schade:( Es ist gar nicht professionell.
i agree, he uses his body to block the view of the serve
Actually no he does not.
Of.Bool
According to the comments here, most of you folks don't know much about table tennis.
For me it looks like Wang liqin's service is not legal...
ボル様グルー塗ってるのかな?
カキンカキン言ってるように聞こえる
この頃まだおっけーだった気が笑笑
