Cool video. I also like to have a drumrack of oneshots and have them routet to only the sends. then just firing them into a massiv cool reverb. some kinda similar, but different technique I use is Rrendering leads, percs etc. then stretch them heavily with the grain and drowning it in reverb corpus and stuff (and other effects to my liking of cause). sends are super cool
I just recently found your channel and find it very inspiring. I haven't been using DAW at all for music production. I compose exclusively with Digitakt live sets of minimal techno. It just suits me very well as it is way to relax after hectic day by grabbing DT and getting comfy on a couch. It is almost like meditative state to listen those hypnotic loops while working on them. I think there is a lot similarities in a way we think about techno although workflow is very different. Now looking at your videos I'm very tempted to try a DAW also in my production. I got myself Bitwig for mixing and mastering purposes to push out proper sounding tracks to SC and other streaming services. I think your approach would easily translate to Bitwig although tools are bit different. I like how you limit your productions to about 10 tracks as I have also always said based on DT track count that 8 tracks is enough to make good tracks. Also it seems that you build nice instrument chains that live on their own. You don't have to tidiously set lots of notes or adjust velocities or any of that micro management. You just build kind of an algoritm which relies on managed randomness to bring up interesting interwoven of sounds. I think one of the great aspects of techno lies in those separate looping pattern which create that holistic end result. By themselves they might not sound that interesting but once you let those patterns grow on you, you start to hear how they form that woven of rhythm and sound where eventually it might be quite hard to tell different parts apart as they intertwine to a bigger shapes and patterns. Keep up the good work. There is a quite a lot of stuff in this space of YT and I must say your content quite stands out with its originality.
Thank you so much for these nice words! You really got my philosophe here with limiting your productions to about 10 tracks and building nice instrument chains that live on their own. You don't have to tediously set lots of notes or adjust velocities or any of that micro-management. You just build a kind of algorithm which relies on managed randomness to bring up interesting interwoven sounds. I tested Bitwig for a time (I have videos about it on the channel) sampling you sounds you build with the DT and then remixing the track in a DAW could give you really new ideas :)
@@MordioMusic You're welcome. Have to give recognition when it is in due. I know that even for a small video you need to put some effort to make them happen. I have some cIips but I have been so inconsistent that it won't cut it. I probably should also step up and start making some more informative narrated videos but it feels rather big step starting videos with own face and voice although I think I would have something interesting to share about Digitakt workflow for minimal techno. I don't know if I remember right that you had some side note about learning Digitakt in one of your clips. If so I would recommend buying proper sounds packs for it. You will need those meat and potato kicks, hats and single cycle synths samples to get going. It is a shame that DT comes with such a poor sound pack by default. I have a feeling that many people give up on it because they get nothing done with it in the first place. I have Jessica Saves Mega Pack and YT channel Substan's pack also. That Mega Pack is kind of meat and potato but it also have lots of pads and textures which are very useful and all nicely categorized for quick access. If interested you can check my Sound Cloud for properly post processed tracks compiled with Digitakt. It is a mono sampler so I think it needs little tricks on each separate track to make it sound bit wider. All those tracks are recorded live on one take as I'm compiling them as a part of live set which can be performed live in local venues. I'll need to check those Bitwig videos of yours although I think all you say in Ableton videos translates easily to BW also. Only thing I have been thinking and not yet found an answer is how to replace that morphing filter with BW tools. But that being said I really don't even need to do that as I'm not trying to copy your workflow just to get inspired. There is plenty of ways to mangle sound in Bitwig so I'm confident that I'm able to get some pretty interesting sounds out of it once getting started.
I make my track for 4 years only with stem recordings from my modular, but now i use the modular only for live akt's and do all tracks in Ableton again ATM.
Your audio and video seem a bit out of sync again. Maybe you need to do a clap before you starting recording. Then it’s easier to sync the audio and video together? ❤

Great tipp mate, i will try the oneshots idea :)
Quality track, well done!
Thank you

thanks for sharing bro!
you can make a video about your workflow with mastering?
I working on it but it will be a bigger video also maybe two parts. so its on the list ;)
Wie eine mega hilfreiches Video um einem Track Leben einzuhauchen. Danke dir!
Sehr gerne! freut mich das es dir gefällt.
interesting process, helps glue together. Nice
yes for this i use the technic! :)
Nice, danke!
Gern geschehen!
So good 👍
Thanks :)
Wow, great monstera but better swap it with the plant on the left side, looks like there is more light closer to the window.
Depending on how the new leave will look like, if it would be as big as previous ones then it’s ok
Thanks for appreciating the beauty in the back :) the room is full of light in the day time and she is 4 years old and love this spot :)
@@MordioMusic happy to hear 😊

Thank you :) i release it this sunday.
Hey bro!! Be well .. the pitch idea is really creative. Danke, dass Sie den Normalsterblichen zuhören 😃
Sehr gerne!
you translation is super dramatic bro haha love it!
Weeell, I'm just following your recommendation about Deepl 😄
Hey bro! Do you often work in Ableton, or do you more often record modular gear?
I make my track for 4 years only with stem recordings from my modular, but now i use the modular only for live akt's and do all tracks in Ableton again ATM.
I can’t find ‘Morph, dial on auto filter? Can anyone help me find it?
You just have to change the filter type
Than you will see it popping up.

how do you clap in a screen recording though?
do you.. play a clap sample in ableton?... ba-dum*clappp*
@@bofud- physically clap into a mic.
i try to fix it always but its again and again here, i don't get it I'm a audio guy HELP X)
