Well the veil of Veronica, is the veil that wiped the face of Christ during the way to Calvary, the Shroud and the Sudarium, were with Jesus at his burial. This maybe real but it is not the picture of the Resurrection.
this cannot be the Sudarium or the Veronica because it depicts no blood stains, bruises, or scalp injuries as does the Shroud. It has the style of European medieval artwork and was probably based on an icon of the Mandylion. Great music, though.
No. It is not the first moment of the resurrection. It is Veronicas's veil. This cloth was never in the sepulchre of Jesus. Veronica took it to her home, an when she realized that the face of Jesus was printed there, the next day she took it and gave it to the Virgin Mary.
@@andrewholdaway813 It's a difficult call. I do see Byzantine and Duocento idealized facial features. The long nose, small mouth, narrow eyes are all quite Byzantine. Byzantium had a huge influence over the art of Eastern Italy, especially Venice. I know that according to many authors the Sudarium ( Cloth of Oviedo ) absolutely fits the blood stand of the Shroud of Turin. I will say what I always say in these cases "Lord, surely Thou knowest" and call it "worthy of reverence and devotion." Pax Tecum.
The Suderium was placed over Jesus' face when he was taken down from the cross and moved to the tomb. The Suderium would not have remained on the face when he was wrapped in strips of linens and laid to rest. So I'm not sure why the eyes are open. In 2014, carbon-14 dating on the Veil dated it to 700-1300 AD. If you believe the Veil to be authentic, then you must believe the Suderium of Oviedo is a fake, unless you believe Jesus had two face cloths at death with very different images on them.
The Face is on a very special fabric woven from the beards of shellfish. Very fragile. But how much testing would satisfy those who will not believe? In any case you would only recieve the life of the shellfish. Be satisfied. No science will provide what the heart already knows.
And how do you know this? What makes you so sure? The Shroud of Turin was only revealed when the camera- an artificial eye created by man- could reveal a negative with EVERY wound related by the Gospel in medical detail. Perhaps God awaits HIS proper time to reveal Il Santo Volto. Listen my friend. Aristotle says this: a man needs three things:Something to believe in, something to do and something to love. Get a clue. God, job, mate.
A very special holy couple gave the replica of this picture to me and my family.

This is like a painting of davinci as the lips follow into the likeness of his paintings.

SO, LET IT BE ---- MESSAGES !! MESSAGES!! SENT BY OUR CREATOR TO THE WORLD , PREPARE FOR THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST FROM U.K. (2021).
The pupils are visible. If the cloth wiped the face it could not have depicted the pupils.

But how would it print 😅
@@sexymonkey4979 Dont limit God.
This face is not European nor Asian . it is Middle Eastern. And quite similar to the Man of the Shroud. Amazing.
The images are far from quite similar; if this relic is genuine, the shroud is not, and vice versa.

They are quite clearly different therefore only one at best could be a holy relic; viewing them both as icons is most reasonable.

Why won't they let us test this?? Is it possible for something as fragile looking as that to survive for 2000 years?
