Hi Marc, any residual laxity from the PCL tear? Got to week 12 now, legs are strong but the residual play in the tibia drives me crazy! Good to see you're back in tje water 🙌
@@alexandreoliveira9077 did you have the PCL brace? I find it will feel more solid one you get to 16+ weeks. Just get that leg strong as possible strong quads the key 💪🏼
@@marcjacobskite yes same as yours (still using it) but there's still a 5mm play in the tibia only when leg is relaxed. The moment you engage any tension in the muscles there's no play anyore.
@@alexandreoliveira9077 Yeah mine is still a mild Grade 1 PCL injury means that i have 1-5mm more posterior translation of the tibia compared to the other knee. This is the mildest form of instability and will allow me to completely return to preinjury level. Unfortunately it can be tricky getting it back to 100% but it wont stop you from doing the sports you need.
I also tried exact this Brace, After one month of using it in Salt water it whas broken already. The teeths in the Brace where broken. The Brace costs around €1000.. for that Money this can Not Happen. And the Brace Goes of if you Land in the Watter without board. Goodluck with the Brace. Hope it does something for you…
@@rickbecker2911 hey what brace did you try in the water? If you get a proper one designed for the outdoors like the CTI you shouldn’t have this problem.
Hey , I do have the CTi custom as well for my return to sport after ACL surgery and their is a warranty on it , maybe you should talk to them about it ? They did mentioned to me that warranty would not work if I'm not washing the brace properly and if it gets rusty tho. But after one month it's weird unless you did not wash it at all and left it wet in the car full of sand lol. Also my one didn't fit when I got it and they made me a new one so if the brace just come off as you fall it's probably something they can help you with. It took me a while to get used to it but once I adjust it properly I think it does help my knee to stay safe .
@@clivehurdle2274don Joy don't have a pcl brace. They have an extra strap that supports the pcl but they don't have a dynamic pcl brace. Cti, ossur, and medi make the dynamic pcl braces
Happy that you are feeling good! Just one question, what are these air buds you are wearing for? Are these for listening music only or they protect ears from the wind? Thanks!
Nice cinematography for your kite session and beautiful location! 🤙🏼
The locations in New Zealand look really beautiful. Would love to kite there one day
Welcome back Marc!
Great you’re back! Very interesting to see different attitude to healing ❤️🩹
