Do I need to unlock the class item first before it drops in the Pale Heart?
@@uchihakokoe Yes you must do the dual destiny quest before it will drop *ON THAT CHARACTER*. If you've only done the DD quest on your hunter then it will only drop on your hunter until you do it on your warlock and titan.

this macro isnt working for me. i followed all of the instructions and my guardian runs off a cliff every time
Same here. And when I managed to stay alive it kept twitching to the left and throwing me off course
Make sure to change the Look Sensitivity to 7. That's what fixed it for me.

My RNG has been awful, over 20~25+ DD runs + over 6~7hrs farming at the Pale Heart and I have not a single decent drop to show for it (across all classes). So I needed this, the grind was burning me out of the game
I have been fiddling with AutoHotKey and this script for a couple of hours to understand how AHK and the script work, and I have found the following:
#1 Mouse DPI is irrelevant. AHK doesn't move the mouse cursor so close to the hardware / driver level that it would simulate actual mouse movement. The script uses a function that interacts with an application at a much higher level, directly defining a mouse position in screen pixel coordinates. Player rotation also does not seem to be mouse dependent. The rotation angle seems to specified relative to a maximum (think of "turn character -25%", meaning turning it 90 degrees left).
#2 The script presented here does not support windowed mode. However, this can be done. I have modified the script to run in fullscreen and in windowed mode (I am using the latter).
#3 The script should actually support arbitrary game screen resolutions. The few screen coordinates used for mouse clicks in the UI are based on 1080p and are scaled depending on the actual game screen resolution. The only caveat is that the scaling is done using integral numbers (integer), but the areas clicked at are so large that rounding errors should not play a role
#4 The character will only properly move to the chest and open it if it has standard mobility. In particular that means that it must not have a lightweight frame gun equipped and must not use gear speeding up its movement, like Transversive Steps, ST0MP-EE5 or Dune Marchers.
#5 The script presented here has an unnecessarily high delay in the movement part (30 secs): The character is made to walk forward for 7.4 secs and then waits for 30 secs. You can shorten that time to 23 secs, subtracting the 7 secs of movement.
#6 Putting the mouse cursor at the left screen border (X: 0) doesn't always seem to work well. Better put it at X:10 to force left scrolling of the map.
#7 My version of the script doesn't require you to load into the landing before starting it. With a little reorganization, you can start the script while in orbit, from where it will execute as shown here.

Hey I've been using yours for a bit and after a while it misses the landing fast travel point and then the macro breaks
It fixes itself but then it will be too far away from the chest
@@jordanblackmore7728 Sorry to hear that. I am using for days now on two different computers, and it works like a charm for me. So I have no idea why it doesn't work for you. What I do to make sure the mouse doesn't get accidentally moved is that I unplug it while the farm runs. It doesn't need a physical mouse to be attached to the system.
First video I seen where you walk through how to turn off mouse acceleration. I was wondering why I kept missing the map as well as turning up the timing from 10 to 100 ms. Clutch! Thank you!!!
When I get in that certain corner, where you wait for a while, my character just stays there and then it resets to opening the map. It doesn’t go to the Chess.

Is anyone else having the problem where you get to the planter box but you dont turn twoards the chest most of the time? It works occationally but i cant figure out what is causing it to not work I've checked a couple times if all my setting are right but they seem all good

the "box key" is this key next to the letter P " [ " esc key to stop it. At first all the macro did was run to the my hunter to the planter box and then run straight and get stuck on the gazebo corner. I played with my mouse sensitivity (IN GAME) and left it set to 14 and this worked great. I made all of the other changes suggested. TRY IT!!

I’ve been using a macro for about a week farming these class items and just got hit with a one week restriction today. Not match made activities. Be careful!

Just set your monitor to a 16:9 aspect ratio through your monitor settings, most ultrawide screens have this option.

I think the drop rate is closer to 1.66666... You stating that you are getting roughly 1 class item per hour with a 1 minute turnaround time for opening one chest confirms this. I opened over 3500 chests manually so far, and for me it's also 60 chests avg. per class item rather than 50 chests.

The expected value for this afk farm is 1 exotic every 43 min. *Assuming 2.5% drop chance for exotic class item and ~ 65 second loop.

Not working for me. I'm on a laptop using a Razer Naga Pro mouse. Once the map is open, it's not doing the left click on the landing. I'm not sure if there's a different mouse click call that I could use or what's going on. tried both having the touchpad enabled and disabled while mouse is connected

is anyone having trouble with this? i downloaded hotkey and got a different screen that says ( new script, compile, ect) and the macro itself can't be opened with note pad.

Script doesn't work for me. At 800 dpi, the mouse is moving way too far left in the map for me. I have mouse acceleration turned off. Positioning the mouse at 0,500 (absolute window position) doesn't work as well. Running Destiny 2 @ 1080p windowed. FPS capped at 30.
How do u turn your dpi to 800 strugglinh
@@GRANDMASTERELI77 Actually dpi has no influence on how this works. I have been fiddling with AutoHotKey and this script for a while to understand how it works and possibly improve it.
my escape button stopped working after i started doing this how do i get it to work again?
Not sure if the monitor needs to be a specific aspect ratio or something. I changed my resolution and all, and the mouse just won't hit the travel mark on the map

No, in my case the pointer wouldn't land in the right spot on the map at all

I'm running 1080p full screen, hdr off, auto fire off, 7 sens, 800 dpi no acceleration, The mouse hovers over the landing but does not actually activate the landing zone. Anyone else having this issue?
change the line towards the top of the file that says "sleep, 10" to "sleep, 100" he goes over it in the video at 2:43

After 4 or 5 passes it messes up automatically I have yet found out how to setup 800 dpi

Does this matter if I’m in windowed mode or full screen? I have an extra wide monitor, will that make a difference?
It does matter. The script uses screen dimensions for scaling (A_ScreenWidth, A_ScreenHeight), so you need to run it fullscreen. I am just working on a version for windowed mode.

It starts with open bracket. You may be able to change the key in the script if you don't like it. So load into landing and hit "[" on your keyboard, then watch it to see it work. It may take some iterations to check it's all good for your setup.

Maybe change your frames per second and cap it to 30
I found the solution change your kinetic weapon to something that isn’t a light frame so you can run at the intended speed

I’m playing on a wide monitor but I changed reso to 1080 both in game and on monitor and it won’t even scroll to landing on map when I start macro
@@Bobbysmith54999 i ended up manually adjusting a bunch of stuff and got it to run pseudo consistently. sometimes it’ll get stuck on the map and just scroll from side to side

Okay so only helpful to PC players. Not console players. Gotcha.
You can still setup macros on console. Before I made the switch to PC I was using macros on console. Much more tedious to setup but can be done

@@zacharymeyer4669 Which console do you use? I installed native macros into the keyboard I was using to make it work for me but that might not be the path of least resistance for you. Playstation has an easier time of it I've heard because they have software that allows you to configure your devices (aka keyboard) for a variety of functions including but not limited to macros. Are you Xbox or PS?

Likewise, just got abt 7 drops over 9 hrs. Def not patched. Also, this is a not a straight forward patch because another macro can simply be made to replace the current one if they change how chests spawn in and when to try to make this method impossible
Going on 4 hours without a drop. RNG is RNG but still... **edit** Realized after about 7 hours that I don't have the xpac on PC(only ps5), so I wasn't actually eligible for the drops. Got a couple thousand Ghost rep though...
Just had two drops in an hour and 20 minutes. Definitely purely is RNG. Buddy sparrowed around landing for 2 hours yesterday and got nothing, as an extreme example.

You're missing the point - you can do both if you want. Just leave this on overnight or when you go to work/out of the house. Me personally, I'd rather play the game instead of running circuits around the pale heart.
