Omgggggg I lovvvvve that the gymnasts have actual cheerleaders!!!!!! That warms my heart as I coached both. And it is something special. People don’t understand how special and new and how modern and great it is and I loveeeee itttt
Hoping a current/former gymnast can answer this for me. When it comes the run leading up to the vault is there any sort of running form taught? Asking as an ex track athlete
Um, can we have a separate olympics where the rest of the worlds olympic gymnasts have to go against just America’s COLLEGE ladies?????? I believe our college ladies would dominateeeeeeeeeeee mostly because the gymnasts from the rest of the world would be so intimidated by the crowd and all the excited positivity and support from the crowd and all the music and the joy and camaraderie. They would be intimidated and shock and it would throw them off. 🤷🏻♀️💃🏻🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♂️
@@Sunflower_vally lol actually I was a gymnast, coached and choreographed for teams, and my sister was a level 7 state champion as well as a coach herself. My nephew has been state champion three years in a row. I am well aware of allllll the many many differences in expectations, scoring, etc etc etc. What I am referring to is the environment of women’s college gymnastics presently. I believe the positivity, team spirit, support, the dj, the cheerleaders, the mascot… this amazing environment that other countries are not used to at all, would affect them psychologically in a few ways. I believe they would be very intimidated. And I am looking forward to seeing if this carries over to this year’s Olympics. Sorry if I was not clear. What do you think? In most other countries everything is soooo serious, and the psychological conditions and training are very taxing on the body and the mind.
@@LisaLeeLeeBlue I doubt it, most crowds in gymnastics competitions elite and college are very engaged in the competition, if not they wouldn't be there. And these gymnasts are trained to perform under pressure, I doubt it'll affect them.
@@LisaLeeLeeBlue I have, and it has something I've noticed from my own experience and from watching elite and NCAA competitions. Some gymnasts are affected by it most don't.

Clearly you dont know much about gymnastics do you? College vs elite gymnastics is extremely different so you shouldn't compare the two.
