Canada's BUSIEST Seaport: BEST of Plane Spotting at Vancouver Harbour (CXH / CYHC)

Beautiful views of downtown Vancouver and incredible sounds of classic Canadian built aircraft? Yah no wonder CXH is a favourite of mine!
Vancouver Harbour Seaplane Base is Canada's Busiest seaport with flights all around British Colombia. With the seaport being located in downtown Vancouver, it has become an important hub for interprovincial travel. With its convenience to Canada's 3rd largest city, this seaport has quickly become Canada's busiest! The airport even has a
NavCanada control tower located on a skyscraper! Arriving and departing aircraft need to navigate the very busy Vancouver harbour making for some interesting views!
The seaport is a hub for airlines like Harbour air, Seair Seaplanes, Gulf Island Seaplanes and Helijet. They operate a fleet of DHC2, DHC3 and DHC6 from the sea terminal plus Helmet operates the S-76.

I love plane spotting here in the summer. If you go around 4:30PM-6:00PM there’s loads of action.
