In my tests using significantly backlit drone RAW images (48mp) from the mini 3 Photomator Denoise was very poor.. especially colour noise.. LrM was very good with some colour and good detail retention, but C1 was streets ahead.. plus mask layers are an improvement. I now use LrM for well lit images and those that need much PP like AI cloning and item removal.. C1 for low light and drone images.. Photomator now just the upscale for well cropped images.. all on my ipad 6 64gb.. look forward to your opinions..🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the feedback. Good to include denoising performance...have to admit I did not test it. Surprised that Photomator was poor given that it uses AI.
@@takebetterphotos8132I’ve also found it’s denoise performance poor, often making no visible difference with some of my high ISO raw files from my Olympus em5 mk iii. It seems to be using Apples built in raw engine which automatically applies some heavy noise reduction. It’s really got me leaning toward sticking with Lightroom, and in fact switching to the cloud version, though Adobe doesn’t seem to want to put their AI denoise in the iPad or iPhone app.
I bought the non subscription offer when it was at the start of school season discounts in september in a local camera store 225€ instead of 300€. 3 computer licences and running on my tablet and phone. Cheaper then lightroom 😊
