I applied for a job that could have been a long term career path, had an argument with my partner because I would have had to move two hours away, we finally came to some common ground and worked through the conflict, I get an interview and think I absolutely killed it (like it felt like my best interview ever), then weeks went by and I never even heard from them anyway. It took so much to even decide to bring it up to my partner, and they had to go through the feelings of living without me, just for it not to happen. But! I didn't let my fear of leaving my partner stop me, and while I was planning on this as a career path I decided to also include writing books as a second career, and started writing my novel and now I have an idea for how I want the beginning, middle, and end to go and how I want to have a series of books. Then I got a raise at my current job and found out about a low cost healthcare center they have specifically for their employees.
