  • Sorting by color is very difficult and would require cameras or sensors to understand the different colored bricks and tell a mechanism how to sort the. This does not sort by color.
Apologies but this product is not currently for sale and I am not taking orders at this time. I appreciate all the interest though.
This project was built for Nate at EpikBricks to help him speed up his sorting process.
Check out EpikBricks channels and content. Nate does an amazing job and I am a huge fan of his.

The Lego sorter was built out of Baltic birch plywood, designed in Fusion360 and milled on an AvidCNC.
Free plans are available on my web site if you would like to build one yourself. Happy to answer any questions: www.petesquare...

This is amazing. Picking Lego out by colour is easier. You don’t spend as much time looking for a colour as you do for shape or size. So this design is very handy as it is. I would order one if it’s sold.

I am sorting Lego as I am watching this. I was thinking of an add on for your system. The small parts are a pain to sort. If you could make a smaller tray to transfer the small pieces in to with a flat botton. This tray would have a slit on opposite sides. One side would only let tiles out. The other side would let plates out. You could take it a step further, and add a V grove to catch rods and technic pins. If you put holes at the end of the V groves, you could tip the tray an collect the parts. This was a very inspiring video. I hope you play with my idea.

That is just genius! From all I've read and seen it's not so preferred and common to sort by color. Usually, people go by size or function. Your creation can save tons of time and hustle for the whole family! You need to be advertised/affiliated more in all those blogs for organizing where moms with kids who own tons of lego will be able to purchase that from you! Consider it, let it out for sale. If you improve it again, let it out for sale too! Admirations! Keep it up!

We have bins and bins of legos, unsorted. My kids don't build much from scratch because they spend most of their time looking for blocks. Instead, they ask for Legos for birthdays or Xmas, and we add more blocks to the bins. This changes Lego building in more ways than one.

Awesome work 😉 !! On the first two filters there seems to be a lot of plane area where smaller pieces might just stay and not drop into a hole to be sorted in one of the lower trays. Doesn‘t seem to be a big deal, but I just wondered if the design of the first trays could be modified to a more dense filter with big holes.
