  • At the beginning of a new year, everyone starts paying attention to their taxes. However, rather than looking ahead at their tax burden for the coming 12 months, the vast majority of people and business owners are looking at the previous year. Unfortunately, when it comes to saving money on taxes, taking that kind of approach is not going to do any good. Simply put, you can’t reduce your tax bill after the fact.
    In this episode, we’re talking with Tom Wheelwright, a professional tax advisor. If you’re anything like me, you hate giving any money to the government. It may sound surprising, but I don’t pay taxes. At first, you may think that I must be cheating or cooking my books, but the fact is that there are legitimate ways to reduce your tax bill to nothing or almost nothing.
    Tom and I discuss various ways to find these incentives that the government offers to businesses and entrepreneurs. That is, assuming that you want to pay less or nothing at all. Break the tax cycle and discover how in this episode of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad Podcast.

    • @Alirajah28
      @Alirajah28 4 года назад +11

      @@paulinsky53 because income gets taxed, not debt.the wealthy minded use debt to leverage taxes on income.
      Example: your business grosses 100,000 in one year. Your expenses were 50,000 in the same year. So your net profit is 50,000 .Your business gets a loan from a bank for 300,000 for the purpose of marketing. The loan (debt) is now a marketing expense now.
      Question : how much did you profit?
      Answer: you didnt. Your in the negative on "paper".

The consistency is what the lower economic class think,about themselves, their perspectives and the how we tend to think about what we call "money" today. So that we can play this game at our level and take care of our families and whatever we value. I disagree that it back fired on them. These are their rules. Yeah you do that and see what happens. It's legal for the super rich only. Not for the likes of us trying to stash a few hundred grand.

    Love the information your teaching the public. When rich people say they don't pay taxes, it's like a dagger to the hearts of people who have to pay taxes. Pay your fair share to provide services to the disabled people and community services. Thanks rich people for laughing at us.

    Wheelright is great. However, if you call his office to get help, you better be pulling in some bucks. If you want to find somebody in your area who follows his approach, good luck! I've read his book and think what he's doing is great, but there's not many CPA you can turn. I'm in the Kansas City area. If anybody has a recommend, that'd be great!

    Does anyone have recommendations on a very good Tax Advisor? Accountant?

    • @jdthecoolguy777j
      @jdthecoolguy777j 4 года назад

      Usually a local tax adviser is the best option. I wouldn't go with a "big box" company. They usually only want you as a client to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Look up reviewed advisers within your area. If they answer the phone and want to get to know exactly what you want without charging you for that phone call, they should be the ones handling your taxes. They are usually the ones that will spend the most time and paying attention to detail with your work.

      @NurturingTalents well now a good one pays for itself. 10k a year translates to 100k year savings. So first and foremost I would appreciate if your little mind stays out of my business....

    • @mikecase9365
      @mikecase9365 4 года назад +2

      @NurturingTalents I'm not sure you read this but again. Not 10k on 100k. I pay 10k and save 100k. His accountant wasnt necessarily the accountant I was looking for. I was looking for out of state accountants. Plus I dont think you understand what or how an accouant works. My last one retired. Accountants charge on their service to you. It all depends on what you need them for. So again. The big boys were talking it's best you dont talk about things you clearly dont undersrand.

      @NurturingTalents if you know how it works then you wouldn't have insulted me from the start. Especially since you dont even know me or my businesses. So again I appreciate the commenting when their is purpose and reason. So good luck sounds like you need it

    • @mikecase9365
      @mikecase9365 4 года назад +1

      @NurturingTalents you started this by saying you probally couldn't afford a good one. Meaning an accountant. If you were standing in line to buy anything in a store and someone stated to you can you afford that? I would t ask if I wasn t in a position to do so. So you assumed and it irritated me. And then your name adds even more to the fire. Never assume anything
