The instructions on the package may as well be written in a foreign language. This is the best video on the net. Made it so it was simple to understand. Thank you.
Totally agree! The instructions with mine made it sound like you're supposed to drill down through the top, as if! When i saw this video, I was like, "Ohhh, of course!"
Omg. We never thought to drill an access hole cause we didn't attach the bottom part of the hardware to anything. It wasn't noticeable, so we just covered it with felt so it wouldn't scratch any surfaces. It still works great to this day. Lmao. We'll use your brilliant tip however, if we need to attach it to wood. Thanks for the upload!! :)
Just bought the hardware to make one under my cabinet. I'm older and it's so much easier to look for a pan. If you are finished with your heart turntable , maybe cut a little of your bottom board, it shows when you spin✌️
Yes! thank you for properly showing how to attach the lazy susan thingy. I've looked at other videos and blogs and they are all like 'glue it' or 'you have screws and now you are done' without showing what to do. So thank you!
Yay! I'm so glad this video helps people. I had the worst luck finding a helpful video when I was trying to figure the hardware out. That's why I made this video. :)
Thank you for the easy tutorial. I watched a lot of men's tutorials and they made it look so complicated that I was going to ask my dad to assemble mine. 🤣 But after watching this I'm going to try it myself.
Hey there, question for you. If you notice, there are two sets of holes in the top portion of the Lazy Susan hardware. What is the point of the small holes?
I have the identical turntable from HD. Its lousy instructions say to mark the small holes and use self tapping machine screws. U dont address whether to use the small holesor the big holes, and why. Also I have a round lazy susan top (a slice of a large tree that is not a perfect circle) it would be helpful to address dealing with a circular base that I bought from HD and make it turn evenly with my out of round Lazy Susan Top.
Hi Myrna! That's a Spade Drill Bit. I like having that little point on the end of the bit to keep the drill bit in place while I drill a hole. But, there are other bits that would work too. :)
Hi! The hole goes in the bottom piece. The screws go into the top (the heart in this video) and the hole in the bottom let’s you screw them into the top. 👍
Abbotts At Home its the size specified in the instructions. All of the flat head wood screws have that kinda a cone shape at the head. It doesn’t screw in completely flat.
@@myrnamccolley4251 Without seeing it, I can't say for sure. Are you using a hardwood that needs the holes pre-drilled a bit? Do you need to just tighten the screws a bit more. I'm really sorry, but I can only guess about something that I can't see. It sounds like the'cone shape at the head' isn't going into the wood or is too wide for the hole in the hardware.
Yeah, this ain't gonna work. Need someone to replace the bad hardware on an old lazy susan setup. No way to drill acess holes etc etc. need something that is a direct bolt on.

Thanks so much, Merri-Anne. So happy I can help!

Y’all got instructions? 😅😅 thanks for the video!
After looking at some infinitely more complex instructions, this is super simple and it absolutely worked! Thank you!
So happy to help!!!
This was by far the BEST, simplest and easiest understood video of how to do this!!!!!
Thanks so much Debra. I’m so happy this video is helping people. 😊 Good luck with your Lazy Susan project!!!

You’re welcome!! Hopefully you won’t even need to change a thing. 😊
Best how to video on this DIY! Everyone else ran through the instructions so fast and skipped parts, I was about to give up hope.
Thanks!!! So happy it helped. :)
Thank you! I am not handy and I watched so many other videos before this one. I finally feel confident I understand how to do it. ❤❤❤
So happy this helped, Toni! You can totally do this. :)
Thank you! So simple, I was at a loss thinking of how to attach this
Glad I could help!

Thanks, Diana. :)
As was said by others, this is the easiest to understand how to attach the lazy susan hardware video!!
Thank you!
Thanks JD!!

Thank you for simplifying the process💯

Fantastic! That's what I was hoping to show it in an easy to understand way. :)
Liezel Higgins yes that isn’t hard at all
Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for.....after I went through 5 other videos!
Awesome, I'm so glad it helped you. I had the same problem 2 months ago. So, I was hoping this would be useful. :)
You should invest in some clamps. They're a tremendous help.
Thank you this is just what I needed
You’re welcome!!
Nothing fancy here, but it gets the job done. Thanks.
Hey there, question for you. If you notice, there are two sets of holes in the top portion of the Lazy Susan hardware. What is the point of the small holes?
To be honest, I have no idea. Maybe someone else on YT will know. 🤷♀️
awesome
Thanks!!

excuse me, can u please tell me where can I find that hardware and is there some other name its called by?
Here's a link to that Lazy Susan Hardware aka Lazy Susan Turntable on Amazon: amzn.to/3UG9RxN :)
Good job, Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!!
Very, Very helpful. Thank you!
So happy to help, Mary! 😊
A guy on tiktok did the exact opposite of what you’re doing but turned out great
What kind of bit are you using to make the pilot hole?
Hi Myrna! That's a Spade Drill Bit. I like having that little point on the end of the bit to keep the drill bit in place while I drill a hole. But, there are other bits that would work too. :)
Did you use self tapping screws like these crazy instructions say?
You can use self-tapping screws or regular screws (with a pilot hole). Just make sure they’re the right size and flat head. 👍👍
Ty so much for sharing
You’re welcome. So happy it helped!!
I'm so confused. If you're drilling through the wood, what exactly is the screw attaching too?
Hi! The hole goes in the bottom piece. The screws go into the top (the heart in this video) and the hole in the bottom let’s you screw them into the top. 👍
Thank you for that helpful explanation.
Thanks so much, Mariah. Glad I could help. :)
nice
Thanks
Thank you !!
You’re welcome! 😊
Can i have this heart lazy susan for a an oblong table. And the price
Sorry, it's not for sale. :)
So I followed you instructions but the screw heads on the two pieces of wood hit each other when turning the piece. Now what?
It sounds like they might be too big. They should be the flat top screws that sit flush with the metal on the Lazy Susan.
Abbotts At Home its the size specified in the instructions. All of the flat head wood screws have that kinda a cone shape at the head. It doesn’t screw in completely flat.

Apparently your screws are too long... Try shorter screws...
Great video!! Get that girl some tools😂😂
Thanks. 🤣
thankyoy very much
Thanks!

Yeah, this ain't gonna work. Need someone to replace the bad hardware on an old lazy susan setup. No way to drill acess holes etc etc. need something that is a direct bolt on.
Some people glue them into place with a strong super glue or cement that works with their materials.
