It’s sad seeing people commenting recently, especially because you definitely searched for this. You wanted to listen to it or cry to it. I have very high doubts it was recommended to any of us. And I feel as we all relate to eachother because of this. Because we are all definitely seeking for a shoulder to cry on, or a way to let it all out.

I sit here at age 21, just got off playstation with my boys about an hour ago. That feeling started to sit in, you boys will know what I’m talking about. When you get off for the night and then life suddenly comes out and slams into, making you think and ponder about the highs and lows of your life. Was looking for a new piano piece to learn and play when I stumbled my way into here. The first 15 seconds started to evoke feeing and emotion, then I made my way to the comments only for the tears to start flowing. I’m not currently sad or depressed, but wow do these stories have an impact. I haven’t cried in years since my grandma passed.. but this piece coupled with the scarily realistic comments made me start to bawl. It’s crazy how each person is living a completely different life, with different dreams and aspirations, different experiences, different tragedies. And yet here we all meet, in a small corner of the internet listening to a brilliant man play this incredible piece while we all share stories and cry together. It’s truly beautiful what music can do. I love every single one of you, I don’t care if we’ve never met, for these stories have shown me how vulnerable and broken so many of you are, myself included. I can only hope each and every one of you finds your path, your purpose, and a great set of friends/family to love along the way. Life isn’t perfect, but acknowledging its imperfections and embracing them is the first step to happiness. God bless you all

4 years ago I cried at the hospital car park after hearing that my mom died. I was so close. I was at the entrance but wasn't allowed to see her. After 8 hours, I get to see her. in a coffin. I lost a big part of me. And the only reason I'm still here is because of her. She want me to prove to the world that she raised a good daughter. And although I struggle, I'm still trying.

I'm broken inside, I can hear my ears ringing out loud, I feel the rage building inside... But it's just so sad. I'm on the brink of tears, I feel so lonely right now, I have no one to talk to about how I feel. All these emotions, all this anger, hatred, sadness, depression, it's all building up into a manic episode in my head, but there is no one I can share it with. And what's my first response to people asking me if I'm okay? I smile and say I'm okay. Even if I say I'm feeling upset, my face gives off a happy expression, the words I use make people laugh. So why speak about it anyway?? Why speak about it when they don't see your emotion, your anger and sadness and mistake it for just being normal? I don't know how far I can reach now... It was never simple for me... I was always an emotional trainwreck and in the end, it's proven to be the aspect about me I hate the most. I don't know what to feel anymore, anger? Depression that I don't speak about ever? Hatred? Love? Sadness? I just want it all to end... but I have too many things holding me back, I'm so ashamed to say it, but there are too many things holding me back... I don't know where to turn to anymore, but I just have to carry on and it hurts more than anyone can ever imagine, more than words can ever describe.

damn, almost 2022… this last year has been a hell ride for me. between my parent’s separation, being diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder and having my sister admitted and discharged from hospitals around the country 15 times, i honestly don’t know where my head sits anymore. i just know that while listening to this extremely sentimental piece, i became finally at peace with my situation.
i write this to anyone who is in a situation of extreme and utter devastation. someone who is in a situation that they can’t control the outcome of, or change their place in. i write this to anyone who feels the desperation of being loved and needed and someone who carries the emotion of anger and fear with them everywhere. someone who feels like all their peer’s shitty situations are because of them.
listen to me. you are human. i am human. we are human. we laugh, we cry. if you are reading this then there is most likely something triggering going on in your life right now, and you need an escape. no matter how upset you are with yourself or your situation, nothing in this world is more important than your mental health. and i cannot express this enough. because YOU are the keeper of your mind. you are the referee of your match, you are the lion of your jungle. nothing someone else can do or say will change the fact that what you say is the final call. no matter how hurtful it is.
i want to say that amidst all the heartbreak and trauma you are facing right now, there will always be one thing a day that will make you smile. focus on that. even if it’s 1 vs 99, 1 will still exist. pain connects us people. we sympathise with a complete stranger only because we feel the situation they are in and we know how tough it is what they’re going through. that is how we’re built. we feel feelings and use them to create ties and joints within ourselves. pain will always be our go to emotion, and that is a blessing. i hope you have a great day.

I wish I could agree that tears connects us, but it’s just not true to me. No one ever checks in on me. No one invites me to hang out and when I do, they never accept. My mom died right at the start of high school, my father is controlling and abusive, I’ve lost every friend I ever had, the only person I ever loved cheated on me, I’m now going through an intense breakup and now I’m left with nothing. So for me, there’s never been connection or sympathy anywhere. I live in an ignorant, dismissive world and I don’t think I can keep living in it. I’m in desperate need of love, but I know I don’t deserve it. I don’t deserve happiness.
