- In this video we take a look at how to bootstrap your Apple ][ or //e using just an audio cable connected to a PC. We take a look at C2T, Apple disk server and bidirectional audio communication using ADTPro.

Did you have to use a high-quality audio cable? I can never get the transfer from the apple game server to work on my iie. Admittedly, I'm using a thin audio cable.
No, it was a very ordinary cable. It all depends on the line out you are using. I don't clearly recall but I had some issues at first. Ended up probing the audio input circuitry within the Apple to make sure the audio was being translated into a square wave. Just make sure the volume is properly set. Another possible issue is that modern motherboards sometimes have multiple audio channels and at least once I was playing the audio stream in the wrong output! Lol
