Hello, Very interesting as a video. Please can you tell me, the locks certified by global security organizations, can be not unlocked? Where do you think the limit is? Thank you in advance for any information.
This shows that with time a thief can get by any keyed lock. Any suggestions on the most secure locks? I realize that if somebody wants in bad enough there is no stopping them. Cheers
Look up the Lock Picking Lawyer on YT for examples (no affiliation). Look up his bucket list or whatever he calls it, you'll see it on his list of uploads. Those are his challenging locks and a good place to start if you're looking to source a better design. If browsing his uploads, the length of the upload generally indicates the difficulty of the lock. If you haven't discovered LPL yet, prepare for binge worthy content overload. -Jake
No lock is thief proof. If someone wants in, they'll find a way. When the lock is too complex, they find an easier way in.. like smashing a window. Deterring a thief (with home alarm signs, or beware of Rottweiler) goes a long way.
Glad you enjoyed it! Be sure to rate thumbs up, share my channel with others, and look over my extensive video playlists for other great videos of interest to you. Thanks
Like any other lock. There was this chick I lived with in Baltimore. Her door had this weird deadbolt inside that she had to have a key to lock it from inside. For giggles I'd pick it locked from the inside when she was about to leave.
Instead of buying a tool, try your Cordless Driver/drill. All u need is a thin edged (grind down if needed) slotted head driver from your Driver bits...and ur done. Of course the Picking part is what takes some time.
Yea, it's the spool pins....most times I would pick to the position you're talking about, then try using the Flip-It tool. And more times than not it would work in my favor.
Thanks for the info for my local criminals. A locksmith should not giveaway his knowledge he learned on RUclips. Lock is to keep people out you don’t want. Please make video on how to bypass alarm system so if I forget my alarm code, I can use your video to get into my house.
Criminals don't use lock picks, they use bolt cutters, hammers, pry bars, and cut-off tools. I was picking licks way before YT started. Any more foolish remarks?
Very nice video. After the Plug spinner does the lock still work or completely destroyed? It seems it works with shock/impact and seems like it will destroy the lock after handful trials?
Yes, the lock is just fine. Be sure to share my channel with others and look over my extensive video playlists for other great videos of interest to you. Thanks!
I'm a retired locksmith. The plug spinner doesn't destroy the lock. All it does is simulate a VERY fast key turn. Much like the old trick of pulling a tablecloth out from under the dishes, it relies on inertia to keep the pins up, while the chambers in the plug shoot past.
All of you people watching are just watching because you think watching 1 video will suddenly make you able to know how to open locked doors. As a person who does this, it is not as easy as it looks.
@@donutviper1 ... The plug spinner (and I wish he had used the proper term) only helps if you have the lock picked in the wrong direction. I've only done this a few times. Usually you can ask the person (owner) which direction it turns to open. Storefront doors are kind of hard, because it turns opposite of what you would think.
This tool is only for AFTER the lock has been picked. Using this tool BEFORE will do nothing but possibly jam a broke blade in the keyway, preventing any way to gain entry other than defacing the lock at that point, which is a last means of entry for a locksmith.
Drilling the shear line doesn't allow the pins to drop. And in a POS deadbolt like yours it's easier to drill for the mounting screws on either side and the deadbolt falls on the floor - no skill required. A Rytan plug spinner is my tool of choice for lock flipping after picking or bumping.
Mostly correct. When you drill out the shear line, most of the pins are drilled away, but some partial upper pins/fragments can and will fall down when the twist drill is removed. Thanks for watching
You don't drill the keyway to allow pins to fall! Above pins are springs which can jam pretty damn quick when twisted between plug and housing! You drill the shear line, trapping the top and bottom pins respectively which allows the plug to turn.
You were pretty specific about clockwise turn locking the door and counterclockwise unlocking, but didn't say that it was due to the lock being on the right side of the door. If the door opens in the opposite direction, clockwise would unlock and counter would lock. Could be confusing to some without specifying direction of opening the door. Great video otherwise.
True, but I figured people would realize that. Below is my "Locksmith & Bypass Tools" video playlist which you may like. Please share with others. Thanks for watching! ruclips.net/video/ErpS7C4gUVA/видео.html

Is it possible to do the initial pick, and then take a flat head screwdriver (or some such), jam it in the key hole and turn the cylinder as fast as you can counterclockwise past the sheer line - before the driver pins fall into place? Alternatively maybe using a powerful drill with a flat head bit to try the same result?
There is a dead bolt lock on my closet door. There is a safe with a lot of money in there. The safe is bolted to a shelf and a wall. I am single with nobody else having a key. If I die it will be hard to get the money.
You're welcome! Be sure to watch my "Locksmith & Bypass Tools" video playlist below and share my channel with many others. Thank you! ruclips.net/video/ErpS7C4gUVA/видео.html
The fastest way to drill off a lock is to place the drill bit just to the right and left of the keyhole. It will hit the screws and turn them backward and then the screws and lock fall right off. Its way faster than drilling the pins out. Of course, you need a new lock after that.....but yeah, nice video for picking.
so if your locked out you go and buy the tools to open the lock then learn how to open the lock and then you maybe able to open the lock so that will safe a lot of time and money, try picking a lock that is not been made to open easy for show purposes,
what makes the lock cylinder more difficult to pick in the correct direction? in my experience, a few styles of deadbolts rotate opposite of the bolt. does the "turn" of the inside bolt have a direct relation to the outside lock cylinder?
Murphy's Law .... for whatever reason, it will "always be easier" to pick to the lock position. In most cases you can pick it unlocked properly, but sometimes those damn things will only pick one way, which as luck would have it, is the locked position. Always have a plug spinner, and if you can afford it, don't get the plastic $10.00 special. They don't always have enough torque to spin the cylinder properly.
i'm ignorant and I admit it, but it seems that there wouldn't be a whole lot of difference about which direction you tension the core, except for the binding order. Seems like an extra bit of work in the proper direction avoids the need for a special tool. You would know better.
You could just drill a hole on each side of the keyhole at 9 o’clock angle and the 3 o’clock angle, by doing that your drilling the screws out that hold the lock together, get a hammer give it a tap in the center of the keyhole, everything should fall apart. Nice video I just don’t have the patience.

You really want to end up in jail? LOL
ha ha ,I was just joking , i expected this reply to come.much earlier.
Very, very nice video!

Glad you liked it Carl! Be sure to watch my lock related video playlist and share. Thanks
Hello,
Very interesting as a video.
Please can you tell me, the locks certified by global security organizations, can be not unlocked? Where do you think the limit is?
Thank you in advance for any information.
No such thing having a lock that cannot be picked open, but you can buy a Medeco or Mul-T-Lock. Thanks for watching!
This shows that with time a thief can get by any keyed lock. Any suggestions on the most secure locks? I realize that if somebody wants in bad enough there is no stopping them. Cheers
Oh there is but they cost more
While a thief is messing with the lock the wireless alarm system has already notified

No lock is thief proof. If someone wants in, they'll find a way. When the lock is too complex, they find an easier way in.. like smashing a window. Deterring a thief (with home alarm signs, or beware of Rottweiler) goes a long way.
@Leon Kiriliuk 100% correct!
Whats the best unpickable lock?Is there any even made? Thanks.
I have a video showing one.

Thank you sir, now you confirmed non of the lock are safe for our home...

Thanks for watching Rob!
Good video.

Always look easy when a master in their craft is doing it. When I do it.....nothing happens😂😂
You can learn, it takes practice. :-)
Like any other lock. There was this chick I lived with in Baltimore. Her door had this weird deadbolt inside that she had to have a key to lock it from inside. For giggles I'd pick it locked from the inside when she was about to leave.
Be sure to check out my padlock shackle protector invention below and share. Thank you!

Thank god he teaches us how to lock and unlock lock with key
Clearly you haven't been on YT too long. LOL People need to see everything.
Instead of buying a tool, try your Cordless Driver/drill. All u need is a thin edged (grind down if needed) slotted head driver from your Driver bits...and ur done. Of course the Picking part is what takes some time.
May not snap as fast as a spring.
Had alot of trouble with some cylinders stopping have half on schlage locks while picking.
Schlage harder to pick than kwikset.
Thanks for helping a fourteen year old steal weed
I hope the 14yo likes being incarcerated, some do. :-)
LOL
Could I use a cordless drill?
It may not snap the core fast enough. Thanks for watching!
All of you people watching are just watching because you think watching 1 video will suddenly make you able to know how to open locked doors. As a person who does this, it is not as easy as it looks.
It’s not that easy...but if you have a plug spinner... well 🤷🏿♂️
@@donutviper1 ... The plug spinner (and I wish he had used the proper term) only helps if you have the lock picked in the wrong direction. I've only done this a few times. Usually you can ask the person (owner) which direction it turns to open. Storefront doors are kind of hard, because it turns opposite of what you would think.
Can u use this instead of a lock pick gun for most locks
No. They do different things.
So true. A-1 plug spinner is also nice. I have had many years of service from my "knuckle buster" .
Excellent video for the thieves....Stay tuned this guy is gonna show u how to bypass burgler alarms
Wow, if you don't like my videos, then you'll absolutely hate and want to see lockpickinglawyer in jail.
You don't drill the keyway to allow pins to fall! Above pins are springs which can jam pretty damn quick when twisted between plug and housing! You drill the shear line, trapping the top and bottom pins respectively which allows the plug to turn.
I've drilled out a few keyways before, never a problem. The top pins and springs fall down and out.

Also, in the real world of homeowner installed locks, at least 30% are installed upside down. And that changes the picking direction.
My "Sledge-O-Matic" works just fine. This aint hollywood people. It took this guy forever to do what my "tool" did in 3.1 seconds.
Whatever you say Gallagher! :-)
U have a very great channel good job on getting over 200k subs! U make great vids keep it up!

I will try my best to share
How many people got snagged on the trim?
What do you mean?
Is it possible to do the initial pick, and then take a flat head screwdriver (or some such), jam it in the key hole and turn the cylinder as fast as you can counterclockwise past the sheer line - before the driver pins fall into place?
Alternatively maybe using a powerful drill with a flat head bit to try the same result?
You cannot spin it fast enough.
There is a dead bolt lock on my closet door. There is a safe with a lot of money in there. The safe is bolted to a shelf and a wall. I am single with nobody else having a key. If I die it will be hard to get the money.
Once they find your body, they'll open up the closet door and drill open the safe.
That was very cool...!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Be sure to watch and share my "Locksmith & Bypass Tools" video playlist below. Thanks

There is a third option with the correct tools. Bypassing the core.
Show us.
In through the out door
You can also flick the tension wrench the other way with a rubber band .
I hope you have a very strong, and thick rubber band. :-)
Maybe I missed something, but would it be easier to always pick to the open position? You make it look easy, Thank You for sharing. JohnG
Yep, you missed something. :-) Thanks for watching!
Yep just a sales pitch to sell plug spinner. If your a good lock picker you always go to thw unlock side.

So can you just use the tool without picking the lock?
Does this work as easily with Everest and Paramount deadbolts?
It works on all pin tumbler locks without a sidebar.
@@electronicsNmore So it would NOT work on the ones I mentioned, as they have a second bar ?
Good video, very useful electronicsNmore!
Thanks for the video. Now I know that the deadlock on my gate isn't secure at all. I don't know what to do next. I am living in a rental property.
Remember, most criminals are stupid. You need to know how to pick a lock in order to use this tool. Thanks for watching!
The fastest way to drill off a lock is to place the drill bit just to the right and left of the keyhole. It will hit the screws and turn them backward and then the screws and lock fall right off. Its way faster than drilling the pins out. Of course, you need a new lock after that.....but yeah, nice video for picking.
Thanks for watching Terry!
Incorrect. Drilling the top of the keyway is almost always the most productive approach.
What's the tool called
@@714RockStarJohnny04 Pick gun, there should be a link in the video description area.
so if your locked out you go and buy the tools to open the lock then learn how to open the lock and then you maybe able to open the lock so that will safe a lot of time and money, try picking a lock that is not been made to open easy for show purposes,
what makes the lock cylinder more difficult to pick in the correct direction? in my experience, a few styles of deadbolts rotate opposite of the bolt. does the "turn" of the inside bolt have a direct relation to the outside lock cylinder?
Murphy's Law .... for whatever reason, it will "always be easier" to pick to the lock position. In most cases you can pick it unlocked properly, but sometimes those damn things will only pick one way, which as luck would have it, is the locked position. Always have a plug spinner, and if you can afford it, don't get the plastic $10.00 special. They don't always have enough torque to spin the cylinder properly.
What’s the name of that too? And does it only works for deadbolt locks?
All types of pin tumbler locks. A link has been placed along with a money saving coupon code in the video description area. Thanks for watching!
THANK YOU. I KNOW WHAT MY NEW JOB IS GOING TO BE NOW. EBAY HERE I COME BITCHES!
lol
😂
That Lock picked tool where can I get that
Look in the video description area Matteo. Thanks for watching!
My problem is my key does not turn all the way to open the deadlock due to foundation issue. Now I cannot open the door. What can I do?
I have a screen door .my key won't open mylock.
i'm ignorant and I admit it, but it seems that there wouldn't be a whole lot of difference about which direction you tension the core, except for the binding order.
Thanks for watching! Be sure to check out my other great videos, especially those related to locks, and most importantly share my channel with many others.
electronicsNmore fair enough man, your channel is definitely quality. 👍
I love videos that tell you how to break into things 🥺
Can i just put the spinner in the door multiple times and just keep pulling the trigger?
Can that be used on any lock like a door lock or front door lock. I lost my vacational house key n I’m going there for Christmas
Just use a pick gun.
Somethings should not be shared publicly. This is one of them!
