The owner of those games (Aristocrat) sued Light and Wonder and won. As a result the court will mandate damages as well as forced the removal of Dragon Train. Light and Wonder has appealed saying that the mathematics cannot be considered proprietary secrets and that is set for a June court date, but in the meantime the games still have to be pulled. They are working on updating their software and will probably unveil the newer versions of this game soon!
I mean, juries have erroneously awarded copyright violations over musical elements like arpeggios or chord progressions. And judges have given corporations, like Monsanto, copyright over life and DNA... so who knows! Thanks for the information.

In my opinion, there is a resemblance between Dragon Link and Dragon Train, but the differences are big too. When I first saw the game and read "Dragon", my first thought was Dragon Link, so maybe they should have named it something totally different.
