I feel like with Addie LaRue the story kind of lacks direction, because her life lacks direction… She can’t form any meaningful connections and nobody remembers her, so what really is her life worth? And then when she meets Henry, she finds meaning and direction for herself and that is when the book also kind of finds a structure. I think it’s beautiful but I won’t say I didn’t have to push through at some points. Sobbed my little heart out at the end 😭 5 stars for me!

I’m reading the invisible life of addie larue now and I feel you where when I put it down I’m not grabbing it and wanting to really continue. The story so fair is beautiful and I’ll continue to read it, but the pace of this book is very slow
It really is a slow story, but once you get to a very specific point of it, you will NOT be able to put it down. Trust me, that was the last book I read, and it really blew my mind.
i also just want to say i love so much that when you annotate you write the date so when you have kids they can know when you read it. i think that is the most wondrous and beautiful things🤍
