- BLUELOCK Episode Nagi just revealed some of the MOST IMPORTANT information we've seen in the manga, including new characters, major foreshadowing for important characters, and new scenes we haven't seen in the main manga. In today's video, I'll be analyzing Episode Nagi's newest chapter, the evidence, how it ties into my theory, and what this means for the future of Blue Lock.

Niko must’ve been going THROUGH IT during second selection cuz he went through at least 6 games during second selection
3v3 game against Nagi’s team (loss)(zantetsu got stolen)
2v2 game against random team (win)(both Niko and hiiragi pass 2nd selection so they can’t lose
3v3 game against random team (lose or win)
4v4 game against random team
(Must be a loss as Hiiragi and Niko end up on different selection teams and Hiiragi’s team passes before Niko’s)

Even if they lose their 3v3 match against random team it’s still the same amount of matches assuming Hiiragi gets stolen in the game and Niko wins the rest of his games

It makes a lot more sense when you realize that Nagi's aura or 'Flow' usually shows in a more grim manner. Forming to the reader as a sort of skull-like figuration or a presence of 'Death' on the field. But that was also foreshadowing to his downfall, as it was this Grim Ego of his, that leads to his eventual reading of Termination.

Nagi will make it but barely and will experience his rebirth like before the WC arc and shows everyone his new ego and skills in a match in the WC where Nagi saves blue lock and dominates the other team
Chigiri taking Ws in the NEL scares me about his potential future downfall 😭
However, we saw in the U20 match that Chigiri was sad about losing stamina halfway through the match as Ego pointed out. I like to think he'll grow to play the full match in the U20 WC, but I guess with the death flags circling around his feet the dreaded moment is inevitable

Chigiri's card stands for ruin, seduction and betrayal right. I'm supposing he gets betrayed by Kunigami and that leads to a career ending injury

What if Chigiri ends up injured in the U-20 because of Kunigami (either trying to help him or Kunigami did something that put him in danger and Chigiri takes the blow for him) thus snapping kunigami out of his emo boy phase and or he doubles down on it and just becomes this absolute beast of a player because he gave his word to chigiri that he would win the W.C for him (it would bring their rivalry/friendship full circle as before chigiri needed to be snapped out of his fear of being hurt and losing the ability to play now chigiri would be the one to snap Kunigami out of his trance)

I absolutely love chapters like this, giving us more info on past events we weren’t privy to is really interesting
If there is an arc after the NEL, I can totally see Nagi barely making it maybe even being number 23 (since he is the authors favorite), and then finding his ego in the arc afterwards. One short game of Manshine City vs Barcha where he has no rivals won't be able to awaken him imo, so the best timing would be after the NEL and right before the U20. This gives nagi a chance at actually making the team since he is super replacable right now, I wouldn't even put him as a starter lmao
Maybe bachira since it would flip what nagi said to him against him in the 4v4 but that maybe is doing some heavy lifting 😭😭

Unrelated to nagi, we know they win and take zantetsu which leaves niko and hiiragi. But when 2nd selection is done, they aren’t on the same team. If they lost the 3v3 with their next teammate, somebody had to go through literal hell (probably niko cuz he finished later)
I think chigiri’s leg will break when we get a World Cup arc and it’s the last match, him scoring the first goal

I want to see Chigiri and Kunigami play together again, I want Kunigami to improve and stop being a "emotionless machine" and I'm not ready to see Chigiri break is leg again. This would be one if not the saddest moment of blue lock, he actually carry Manshine, improve a lot and have win the heart of reader with his personality and weapon, I would be so mad to see him injured again 😔
There is no shot that Chigiri is not getting ploughed but I will be pretty sad when that happens
i do hope the author takes a realistic approach with the downfall of the genius prodigy, and the heartbreak of injury and repeated injury. both are the stories of soooooo many athletes, and athletes that never got to make it and realize their dreams,,, especially the injury part in todays world with how hostile people are towards players sitting out do to injury. and the unfulfilled potential of potential genius hits home for a ton of people.

Suddenly think of an idea that Chigiri got injured after scoring 1st goal VS Barcha (possible on his other leg), forcing Nagi to reawake his ego.
Chigiri was then out until the latter stages of the U20 World Cup
Hiragi being revealed as a member with Niko so early actually says a lot sue to how the final teams developed. Love this different perspective view
My personal view point is that hiragi might use psychological warfare as a weapon and that is why he told them before facing off

It makes sense that Chigiri will get development the last, he got a quick jump in character after his soft awakening with team Z. His leg breaking makes the most sense because he is the most important defensive asset for Isagi's dream gameplan

Personally, I think Death could also mean the death of his own ego (ego death) and that might be the change that Nagi needs in order to grow as he forms and shapes a new one. We have to remember that all the other blue lock characters had their downfall arc, and this is just Nagi's turn. His panels where he's drawn as a baby chick or the thinking man isn't by coincidence, as he's quite literally learning about what it means to mold his ego as well as what being a soccer player means to him. His character color, white, is done to represent that blank canvas, the purity, the innocence when it comes to approaching this sport, and he'll grow out of the "Lazy Genius" part into perhaps just "Genius." Or I'm hella coping, good chance that I am 😂
