This made him have a huge ego but also made him feel like he had to live up to all of their expectations or else he wouldn’t be good enough. And throughout the show after he got into U.A he has met students who have rivaled him in power and intelligence and also Deku is now able to rival him as well, so his worldview had been shattered. So basically he has an inferiority/superiority complex or something like that😅 he goes through major character development tho!

I learned the writing man and eating it in high school because I was in theatre and the troupe looked up all the superstitions so we could do them to up our chances of a good show. Being as obsessed with theatre and obsessed with Japanese culture as I am it became a favorite of mine. It's fun finding characters doing it and knowing the significance instantly.

@@goobyaluob Lol, it was because Deku was writing "人" or human on his palm over and over because he´s nervous. Shoto then told him he should swallow it (a Japanese superstition, writing the 人 kanji on your palm and then 'swallow' it to calm yourself).
Bakugo eavesdropped (it was funy, hie ears got bigger and bigger while he pretended not to care) from his seat and well, guess he could feel nervous too 😅😅😅😅

I haven’t really thought about it until now but I love how most of the class thinks of bakugou as their friend and he self proclaims he’s not. And everyone just goes with that vibe and still treat him as their friend. Lmao mainly deku and here todoroki. It gives me “I’m still sitting next to you shithead” vibes.
