You have such a lovely mature and sheltered garden! Ours was like a building site when we moved in and I've had to start from scratch😭In that mossy border I'd recommend a bush like lonicera nitida baggesen's gold to add a bit of year-round brightness. Maybe some variety of cyclamen would look lovely hidden amongst everything too?
