That’s probably because you’re singing too “breathy”. You might be used to using a lot of air when you talk- like you breath in and use that air to talk until you’re out of air. But when you sing, it’s important to use different breathing techniques, using your stomach more and not basing your voice on how big of a breath you took. That will eventually strain your vocal cords. I’m no professional but I am learning about this in classes rn so that’s my source🙏

That’s probably because you’re singing too “breathy”. You might be used to using a lot of air when you talk- like you breath in and use that air to talk until you’re out of air.
But when you sing, it’s important to use different breathing techniques, using your stomach more and not basing your voice on how big of a breath you took. That will eventually strain your vocal cords.
I’m no professional but I am learning about this in classes rn so that’s my source🙏
