    it is a really good help but at the double displacement reaction at the end, you forgot to balance so you are not done with this reaction.

    Well, both of those are basically the same thing, but for exceptions' sake, it's because they are both positively charged ions. OH is negatively charged, so it always needs a positive ion.
    In most circumstances, these positive ions will be individual metals, but there are likely a few exceptions. Like how NH4 is a positive ion also (albeit polyatomic).

    at 5:37 how do u know that Zn and Na switch? cause they're both positively charged? or cause theyre both metals?

    Zinc is less reactive than Sodium so it wouldn't displace it.
