Here's a take on Oldham fans from the horse's mouth ,back around 14 yrs ago my team blackpool fc ,played them in play off semi final first leg away at Oldham ,they gave us 3,200 tickets we sold them out my daughters were in massif que outside ,ticket office Bloomfield road the word was all tickets gone ,but Oldham could be sending an astonishing 1,500 more tickets ,they couldn't sell to there own fans I swear on my kids lives , unbelievable but obviously great for us my daughters got tickets ,we had 4,700 blackpool fc fans going over the noise was incredible ,no wonder we won the first leg with a wes hoolhaan worldy making ,Oldham goalie and defender look like clowns bumping into each other ,has wes slotted home the winner the home leg we won 5 3 Oldham's support in ,my opinion is shite I couldn't support a club that couldn't sell all there play off ,semi final tickets how fkn embarrassing 😂
I’m a cov fan not an Oldham fan but your chatting a lot of shit. Even when they stopped protesting the owners blackpools away support was mediocre. 1000 fans singing a few chants here and there. Shrewsbury, Wimbledon, Southend, Plymouth, Charlton and Scunthorpe all had support that was either as good or better then your lot. In the championship your away support was mediocre it best normally in the smaller side. Now that your back in league one I can see all the empty seats watching the EFL highlights. Chat shit about Oldham if you want but Blackpools support is no better then the average.
