If you guys don't mind doing gen 2 missions, the farming stryder down in the heart of rockwell on gen 2 is really good for farming mutagel! Just bring it to the edge of the acid pool and farm right there. All you have to do is tek jump up to the roof and by the time you land on your stryder it should all be respawned. I farmed thousands of it just by doing that, hope it helps!

You can farm mutagel in the corrupted area where reapers are in the acid with a whip on a boosted server can get around 800-2000 per hour

Fyi if there’s no mutagel trench, that rock ele farm getting 20-60 on every 2nd or 3rd rock is pretty dang good.
