I have had that Shared Death Experience you spoke of. It was just like you described. I did a mixed media visual artwork about it… I called it Swimming with Suzi I had just gotten out of hospital dancing with Death for 4 months as I loved cancer away. I had said goodbye to Suzi a few days earlier as she was close to death. The experience came to me as My Full Extract Cannabis Oil started kicking in. I spontaneously started dancing with my eyes closed and my feet firmly on the ground)I couldn’t move much as my body was so weak). The next thing I new I was soaring through the Cosmos, it felt like swimming when you first dive into the water and are still gliding without using your arms or legs. Then I became aware that I was following Suzi - though I could not see here aI knew that she was gliding just like me not far ahead. It was very beautiful.
I have had many trips and they sound very similar to nde's!!! The feeling of dieing and rebirth being one with our infinite selves, its euphoricly transcendingly life changing ❤️
I have experienced both psychedelics and an NDE. There is NO comparison! LSD was more like a crazy lucid dream (have had those too) and the NDE was more real and organized than this "reality".
I'm open to this correlation between psychedelics, NDE's and our spiritual entity. Question: Apart from the artificial journey of psych's. How does the psychedelic experience correlate with the near death experience when one is on an operating table with a zero or near zero EEG where it's impossible to have any organized memory/feeling of pain, dreams, hallucinations, thoughts, memories... There may be some firing of the synapsis between the Cortex and the Thalamus, but nothing organized. It seems though similar experiences can be had, but there seems to be a hard separation between the two. The mystery continues...
