Dang. I feel like these vids used to be more varied and succinct. Recently they start saying the same thing with different words at the 20 minute mark every time. Blegh.
Have yet to hear the same thing repeated over and over… i heard a plot synopsis at the beginning as well as bullet points for the video followed by short simple explanations before exploring them further in a deep dive but ya know say something twice an now you said it for 20 mins…
Iron hands not having terminator armor has pretty much been retconned, more recent books and codices either don't mention that why have less or say that their ties to the admech has allowed them to restock their supply of suits
The Iron Hands have enough of a surplus of Terminator armor that they can afford to equip every squad sergeant with it, acting as a sort of one-man CIC for his squad.
Just a anecdote, first company space marines' Crux Terminatus (Made of Bone or Stone) are the ones that contain the Emperor's armor fragment, they also look different than regular ones. Above it is the Crux Argentum (made of silver) an even higher honor. 🏅
To everyone stating he’s repeating himself. What he does at the beginning is basically something called a synopsis. looking at the diagram of the armour and the cut a way secton, i realise that IF (and its a Big IF). there were say The sisters of purification. then each of them, would have to under go a double mastectomy so the Power armour control system coul remain in place, Also it would have to be either the Mk5 or Mk6 varient because of geonome matching and dna compatability issues.
actually, Tactical Dreadnaught Armor was initialy developed for protection in super volatile enviroments, aka reactor cores etc and was purely protective gear for specialist workers... but it makes sense the Imperium would adapt it as combat armor lol, afterall they dont care for the "workers" that go into reactor cores to refuel them etc -.- EDIT: ok nvm, he first says it was developed ofr combat, then after 5 min he says what i said above... lol ngl slightly confusing

35:19 In the darkest days of the Great Crusade, as the Imperium expanded into the stars, a new design of Tactical Dreadnought Armour was forged in the forges of Saturn’s ringed moons. This sacred variant, known as the Saturnine Pattern, was born from necessity. The artisans of House Ferrax, bound by ancient oaths to the Mechanicum, drew upon forbidden technologies and xeno-conquered relics to create a suit that could withstand the horrors of war no human could endure. With thicker ceramite plating and enhanced servo systems, it became a fortress unto itself, built for wars where even Titans tread carefully. The Saturnine Pattern was first gifted to the Emperor's chosen elite-those destined to lead the charge through enemy fortresses and breach the unbreakable. Its dark, ominous form bore sigils of forgotten wars, each one etched with the blood of its forgers. Legends claim that the prototype suits were blessed in the glow of Saturn's storm-wracked atmosphere, its howling winds carrying the whispers of the Omnissiah himself. Wielded by the most honored of Terminators, this armor remains a testament to the ancient and lost arts of Saturn, a relic of humanity's unyielding will to dominate the galaxy.
Dark apostle Marduk given the terminator armor last used by the warmonger Is super cool. Salamanders made up some crazy shit in 30k like 25 suits that were too OP for the era. Jean stealers finger nails slice through terminator armor like bread.
17:43 Forged in the heart of Titan's holy furnaces, the Emperor's sacred armor was smelted down to its raw essence. From this divine metal, each Crux Terminatus was imbued with a nano-layer of the Emperor's own armor, applied to the outer casing of every Crux Terminatus on each Terminator armor. Thus, every warrior who dons this hallowed relic carries a fragment of the Emperor's immortal protection into battle.
