Additional Important tip from Shinlao: You can tap dodge for like 3-4x instead of 1 before holding dodge button, this will save you some frames and will make fake dodge way easier.
So it'll be like this:
switch in> dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge (spam this like crazy) > dodge hold > ping orb
If you still can’t get it, you can try dodge > ping 3 orb > dodge hold 👌

Ok, so for clarification; (1)your DV holder must be in red and (2)you start the battle with it, then (3) switch to Bianca, (4)dodge and (5) hold dodge, (6) and while in the animation of the dodge matrix, you must ping 3-orb red for the DV holder, (7) and finish the rest. Am I right?
Dv holder spot doesn’t matter, but in that case I put her on red since dalaos said it’s the best dv holder slot atm. And yeah, the rest are right. Tho on step 5 and 6 the timing is tight so you have to ping 3 orb asap. Check the pinned comment for another tip that I missed to put in my video
@@yorforgerpgr Thanks for the clarification, but it's just too difficult to pull off in pc, or at least on my end. I dodge with RMB and ping orbs with LMB. I cannot ping the 3orbs during the dodge matrix animation. Skill issue, perhaps.
Timing is very tight indeed, so based on my experience, I don’t really focus on the dodge animation, just whack orb button as fast as I can after I hold dodge but I’m sure you can pull it off. Gl mate
@@Sakamoto_1535E3 I use SPACEBAR for dodge, SHIFT for autoattack, and I ping my orbs with LMB. My right hand is just for pinging orbs (and for some core passive procs with RMB (hold basic attack)). I think that way is easier

Tried this but i did a different way so first switch to bianca then dodge and before you hold dodge ping the 3 orb just slightly before hold dodge, it just doesnt work for me this way(switch,dodge,hold dodge,3ping)
Tip:dont press too fast on the dodge or too slow remember that the only time you could ping your 3 ping is when your finger is not touching the dodge button 😊
One of my dalaos use this sequence as well, Ig there are other varieties but it depends which one suits you better

How would I know if I did it correctly? The non fake dodge and successful fake dodge difference is 1 second, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference xD
that 1 second is also a difference xD but the main indicator that you did it is when you only consumed 1 dodge gauge instead of 2. Check 1:21

Bruh I can't get the timing of the orb pings right.
I do have some queries. As follows:
1) Do you immediately spam dodge after changing into balter.Also is there a time gap between the hold dodge and the first tap dodge?
2) Do you ping the 3 orbs with the hold dodge or is there a time delay aswell?
I have been trying this for hours now and my brain hurts i still couldn't pull off this 😢

Just keep on practicing. I managed to get 1 successful fake dodge myself after more than a hundred retries xD
And no, it’s doable for all Balter ranks.

You can’t ping orbs when you just hold dodge directly
Main purpose is for fast and tight PPC kills
