It’s absolutely a home run even without Apple’s CarPlay or Android Auto! I’m just happy Google services have made themselves at home and are now Chevrolet’s native built-in UX which makes the other systems redundant. They’ve finally done their homework and it really shows on the Blazer EV.

60k? How does anyone expect to afford that to “go green”? Ridiculous

Fr, electric cars don’t save the environment in any way shape or form

I paid about $28k for a Bolt EUV. A little above MSRP but still not terrible. People will pay a premium on EVs and there is a lot of demand for these vehicles.

@@crt5866 Let’s get the “save the environment” rhetoric out of the way. We aren’t trying to “save the environment”. The environment and planet will adapt as needed. We are trying to make a better life for ourselves by limiting emissions and warming.
Electric vehicles reduce a considerable amount of emissions, even when accounting for the intensive manufacturing process and power generation. Do you know why this is? It’s because EVs don’t produce direct tailpipe emissions. Therefore, there is a break even point to net the carbon emissions from production. With a gas car, there is no break even point.

@@rylans.5365 and that’s wonderful. You will be an insane amount to replace those batteries that are being manufactured in plants run by fossil fuels. The logic isn’t there.

that's not entirely true tho. because most people get their electricity from fossil fuels, so the emissions are just being moved some where else to make people feel better. and these estimates of the impact on the environment never take into account for how to deal with the massive batteries after they are done being used@@rylans.5365
