Thiccer hickory. Just discovered your channel through Michael Alm. Love your design with the curved sides becoming the feet and the angled feet at the foot of the bed. Especially appreciate your after the fact comment about safety. I wish more content creators were humble enough to acknowledge their mistakes and glad yours had no disastrous effects. Good luck finding thiccer hickory. I've only ever gotten 4/4 and glue/plane from there. Nice design execution.
