if you cant get the particle editor to "open" right, idk if this will fix it for you but i have to lower my launch options from 4k (native res) to 1080p to see the bar at the top that says "file, edit" etc. and click file, open, and at the top of the file browser that opens, on the right theres 3 buttons, the middle one lets you go to the folder the current one is contained in, then again, you should now be in your game folder, find "tf" and open it, then open the particle folder, from there just scroll until you see medicgun beam and open it, this will open the missing boxes alongside the view port and you should now be able to continue with the tutorial!
main issue here being you might not be able to see the top bar ofc, but also thought it was broken as only the game preview and nothing else came up, hopefully its a rare issue.

@@aspa3318 you would need your medic and your medigun, then while in the motion editor, look at the animation set editor, (on the left side under where you add models) drag the medic onto the medigun, there should be a lock symbol right next to the medigun so while having that highlighted, under procedural which is near the left side, find the slider with the word Zero on it, click it and slide it all the way to the right, you should see the medigun fit right into the medic's hand. And that's it. I hope I explained it clear enough, there are lots of youtube videos that could show how to do it too. Just search "how to lock sfm".

Cant find the dissolver effect from emancipation grid (portal). I found some in portal 2 but it uses "toxic_slime_warp.vmt" that is missing. This effect also used in half life 2 (combine ball) and portal 1, but i didn't found it in particules.

They have to be 3 letters, and are actually pronounceable as the colour. When you say "blu" it is pronounced the same way as "blue" so "gre" wouldn't work for green, and I don't think any way would without adding all of the letters. At the very least it would have to be "GRN".

same happened for me, you're actually in the wrong file, go back 2 folders, click tf, then particles. at least that's what I do to get it to work.
I don't see the "Muzzle" option on the medigun (Note: I understand Locking)

When I open the particle tool, there is no particle in the list at all. I don't exactly know, where to look for them now.

Is there a way to increase the bright of a particle? It looks too dark once I darken the scenario with the chamera, even if I add lights after.
I chose an explosion (in my video the kid from FNAF 4 Flashes bonnie with the light and his head is supposed to explode) but i can't see it
make a new shot and go to your new shot then get back to the original scene and if you did it all correct you should find it
