I watch these mock tests every night and the voice-over explanations has been more instructive for me than many of my instructor's teaching during a drive. I think, the prosody in the voice over helps me retain information more! It's definitely the best out of all the channels I have watched. :)
Thank You, Roland! I enjoyed watching Darren mock test and is a great motivation to improve my driving and planning. Please, make more mock tests with F.L.holders, whenevere possible🔥
Absolute two top blokes, Daz did really well considering no professional training. Keep up the good work Roland, really enjoy watching your moch tests 🤙🏻
@@GetWheelDrivingHi Roland, just wanted follow up and let you know that I passed my Part 2 test last Tuesday with 0 faults. Your input on these videos really did help me. Much appreciated 🤙🏻
It definitely felt like I did worse than the video made me look. Learnt loads. Motivated me to do more too. Have to thank you for the opportunity it has been a major boost. Still a bit Mícheal Jackson (speed demon) in my practice, but getting better at it and shouting out signs is helping me to remember to look for them more. They changed the speed limit on my home estate, a week after I got back, to a 30kph (20mph approx) zone. So that has actually helped. 😂
the brakes on hybrids are wildly different from petrol/diesil. I am learning in a hybrid and I have gotten used to the braking being prompt and engine braking being quite useful. My instructor was hit by another driver so we are using a courtesy car at the moment and I struggled at the start with them. I found them unresponsive and laggy (probably not the word I'm looking for lol) and it was the same on a dual control I hired from Arnold Clark. I didn't know it was a hybrid thing! I am glad that it is a hybrid I will be getting when I pass 😅 Also, not a fan of the awkward silences, I need to fill them too haha
Enjoyed watching driving a mock test and I think overall he did well considering he was not familiar with the UK driving speed limits. Here's an interesting fact: The maximum speed limit in Ireland for most EU members for motorways 120 km/h, (85 mph), national roads 100 km/h (62 mph), regional roads 80 km/h (50 mph) and urban areas 50 km/h (30 mph). It's interesting to think the UK government were considering increasing the uk national driving speed limit from 70-90 mph! What's your thought on this ? 😮
He did very well all things considered. Differing speed limits between countries will always make it harder for sure. I’m unsure as to whether they’re considering 90mph I had heard that 80mph could be an option but I don’t think they’ll do it though. I wouldn’t have an issue with the limit being raised to 80👍
Correct me if I'm wrong but I read that Sunglasses are Illegal to actually wear whilst driivng, I might be wrong but I've convinced myself I read this on a BBC news artical recently , picky I know but interested to know your take on this ?
Interesting! I would say without doing research that if your sunglasses impair your vision then yes you could be in trouble… As you need to be able to see clearly. Most sunglasses are perfectly suitable in particular polarised as they help to reduce glare in sunny bright conditions and are actually very suitably in overcast conditions too. Good Question though!!!
@@GetWheelDriving I'm contemplating becoming an instructor BTW hence researching many channels on you tube, yours are a very interesting watch and really helpful
Hello mate, in currently waiting to do my part 2 test something I’ve noticed in your videos and many others is most PDIs are much older im 28 and although a father and a fully grown man I feel like a baby going into this industry 😂 I just wondered how old were you when you became an ADI?
Also to add I love your style you make your videos extremely interesting with your mix of serious/humorous narration you have a tv star quality talent right their 😂
I was 34 - most are a bit older but there’s quite a few younger ones out there these days too. You only have to check social media. Age doesn’t matter it’s how you drive, what you know and then how you put that across to learners. Go get it done! 😊
Ooooh that’s kind of a long answer. You need to pass 3 tests. Plus be trained. You could easily be spending around £2500 more or less depending on where you’re getting trained. The part 2 test itself costs £111
For someone who hasn't had any training, he did really well 😊
Thanks for the video 👌🏽. So much to learn
Thank you.

Is that a Barnet route? I’m taking mine in Barnet next month and going to do some practise!
That was out of Mill Hill… Barnet will have access to the A1/M1 plus plenty of national speed limit single carriageways.

Appreciate the reply! I certainly will do! Keep up the content.. il certainly be taking some things away into my own teaching style from you!
He's not a proper Irish driver, he uses his indicators ! Darren is better than most of those I see on the roads in rural Ireland.
😝I need to get myself to Ireland for a vid one of these days…
its a privilege to be the first to comment and view this very video
