I wonder who picks the select few "artists" to do whatever they want and be fed with limitless wealth for whatever they do? (And who decides on membership to that club?) Someone in the International Art Community gave someone the authority (Dark State like?) to sit on the sidewalk and point out a random passer-by to make famous. It's like TikTok fame ... millions of fans looks great but they're millions of dumb people. All of this gives credence to the adage, "It's not what you know, but who you know." (Sadly true I'm afraid.) Stardom these days is manufactured.
