Great video brother extremely helpful 🏹🏹
What I personally did, I was replacing an old string so I took off the old string, and then used scissors to cut the serving on the groves of the peep, and then I popped the peep out due to there being no tension since the string was off.

Good video...I looked this because I did it wrong and accidentally nicked my string w the knife blade. Now I’m out $100, a long trip to the bow shop and back, retuning, and worse yet I can’t shoot my bow until the replacement comes in....which may take a month due to this COVID crap. Only had this bow one week. There are worse tragedies in the world but right now I can’t think of any. I could scream!!!!!!!!!!
That was super helpful. Thank you.
If your just replacing a peep am I going to need to sight my bow in again? Having the pro shop install a new peep with a clarifier. Thanks
Come back Kenny!
can we use a nail clipper? to cut the burned knot. Thanks.
thank you
Does the bow have to be in a bow press to remove?
You could if you didn't have the string seperator. Once you take that knot off, putting it in the press can help you seperate the howstring and have that peep come out. Again, you don't necessarily need a press, but if you don't make strings of mamy colors, and therefore have a ton of string seperators, the press will work.
Good video
Great video! Question, if I just want to replace the peep sight itself, after I have removed the string around it (peep sight), could I just swap out to a new peep sight? Do I need to remove the rest of the string above and below it? If I can keep the string separated enough to insert the new one, will that work? Thanks in advance.
No, you don't need to. He specifically said you only need to do that if you need to move the peep sight. Make sure to mark tye exact position of the peep height though, that way you can stay consistent with impact point.
Is the button looking things on the string what I hear referred to as "speed buttons" or is that just some sort of vibration dampener?
They work as both
Keep em comin
Thanks for the Tips!
what the name of the string you tie the peep in with?
B-50 is the string its available in the Bow Tuning tips shop in the tool section, thanks
Why does this video remind me of the Japanese people talking in an old Godzilla movie??
