- ■ SAIGON, VIETNAM: One of my all time favourite markets to go shopping in the one downtown Saigon. Here you can bargain for everything from clothes and watches to handbags and local moonshine. Best of all, unlike in markets in other parts of Vietnam the vendors speak great english due to the number of tourists that come through here.
Naturally I had to go for a mega shopping spree here. So I dug deep into the federal reserves and went to investigate exactly how much $200 USD would buy me in Vietnam's biggest market.

@@HaraldBaldr They're rich stall holders making up prices for each customer. These aren't the types to be donating too in my opinion. They make a living on ripping people off as much as they possibly can lmao. Should do something like this in poorer/less densely populated areas.
"That is an outrage!" is a top tier bargaining tactic that only Heraldo has mastered with both humour and intent...wouldn't surprise me if we see this slogan on the designer T-shirts next time he visits the market.
What I've learned so far studying the Northman's activities in Vietnam; 1) You can indeed go completely broke in an hour or so. 2) Moonshine is best paired with Cobra intestines and beer with ice. 3) Fish is not for eating, toss them at your friend.

It's actually a really cool market
Its a nice market but, I was there last month, I would say this is the most expensive market in VN. For example the same shirts can be bought for 100k elsewhere.

Vietnamese people are so cool! They had to endure pure hell for nearly the entire 20th century and it seems like they're slowly making their way into having a better nation. But no matter what, they always have a smile on their face! BTW, it's so nice to be able to see a travel video where the narrator is not being harassed by scammers.

oh that’s why me too felt the lacking of some interesting things.
i didn’t drink but both scorpion and vipers in one bottle sounds not very ..tempting to drink?
There are 3 options
1. They were still in the Northface bag in the rear pocket inside the main compartment and I simply didn't see them when emptying everything out (most likely option)
2. They were stuck inside some of the clothes on the table
3. I lost them
