I love the 50b man! Just aced it last week with 6k damage, but I agree that it might the hardest heavy to play, and to grind! Every battle on it is like a clutch battle analizing every possible risks before movin. At least the 50b has gun dep and is quite a flexible tank, the magazine deals so much damage that sometimes you just forget how much you are farming, but the lack of armor and the 4 shells magazine make it hella hard to play. What I do sometimes is to split the magazine in 2 double-shot rounds, I shot the first 2 shells, dodge a shot or something, and then I release the remaining two shells, it is like playing a big azz medium, you gotta move, relocate, hide and ambush, and dogde the emies' shots constantly, or trading a big nasty shot with your even nastier full magazine load and run. For the grind, it is a hard one, it starts easy with the BDR and the ARL-44, a couple of the best heavies for its tiers, but then the Tier 7 gets... weird... this T7, the AMX 45, is like a big medium, like a Tiger I with a similar gun but less armor and better mobility. Then the AMX 50 100, great tank with the top gun, but the 4 shots stock gun is absolute trash, actually, it might be one of the hardest stock tanks to grind! Here is where things start to get really hard and you really need to analyze what you do before moving to do well since the tank has no gun dep (only 6 deg) and it has no hull armor, but when you get used to it, it becomes a nasty and fun tank to play. The Tier 9 AMX 50 120 is kinda the same, the stock gun is garbage, but the top 3 shots one is very good, its main disadvantage is the freaking lack of gun dep (also 6 deg) but at least it is somewhat harder to HE that the 50b hahaha.
I once payed the 60TP in the Chinese city map and had a 50b unicum teammate who inspired the team to push with him, bro survived the battle with 1.6kish health a 6.2k damage . 50b is still a absolute beast
The 50 B is not nearly as playable as it used to be with the 3 Shot, 3.0 aim time, 0.290 dispersion with armor hull. I don’t mind nerfing the turret to paper thin armor, but they should’ve kept everything else as it was 😕
Love this tank since day 1...I really do well with it...I yolo with it peek and shoot fairly long distance etc...I just always decimate in it...I never get nuked in one shot but I get it-you gotta know your opponent. I dont do alot of kills in a game but average 2500-3800 on most games. Just me I have other tanks I have a rough time with. Autoloaders you gotta keep yourself open to get out once your clip is up (if your like me and boom boom all at once)....highly recommend this tank! PS Also I am really dangerous around the Sheridans and the BCS-its a natural destroyer to those little badboys.
The AMX-50B, T57 Heavy, FV4005 and TVP 50/51, even though they're autoloaders are definetly not recommended for newbies and amateurs (like me😢) because no matter how deadly their guns are, you can basically pen them in almost any place. I still grinded the TVP line (and reached tier 10) though because it has better mobility than probably EVERY OTHER autoloader I've mentioned (obviously slower than the Bat-Chat 25t), so it can move around quicker and get out of tight spots much better if you've dumped your entire clip
I’m going 75% with 4.6k average damage lol. The tank is a menace. Had a situation where I was tryna clutch a 1v5 though and it was down to the two final tanks that were both one shot, and both shots I fired went low so I died. The gun sucks if you ain’t close
It’s not that slow, like obliverator1654 said, it’s from 40 to 37. It’s only 3km/h of difference, it doesn’t has that big of an impact when it’s going forward, but y]obviously it would have a very big impact if it’s reverse speed.
The way I would drive the 50B is I would wait for the opponent to turn towards my Allie’s, then clip them and pull back, and my Allie’s would finish them off. But that’s just me, I think 😂
Whenever i see a 50b i just tunnel it as hard as i can especially if im driving my E100 and load He… yknow and then the 50b loses 1200hp because he’s an ape
50b is ez to play, it’s all timing and positioning or where to sit and wait for peeks, and also when to take hits cus obv if u want high damage games in it, it’s inherently inevitable to take dmg (excluding peeking a td), secondly it just confidence
The tank itself, not too bad. Then you see the player, who clearly doesn't know how to use it, yolos you and dies instantly. Take a good guess where your HP went
The shot that you took on 215b but didnt hit. That happened to me many time before. I hear the gun shot and everything but somehow the shot is missed or didnt fired in actual which so annoying maybe its wg servers.
most games i lose right now is because medium flank falls apart. most people dont know what to do in mediums, they dont understand that they have an area made for them that would benefit the team if they go there and that heavys arent not the best to cover that area.

I always find it can be team dependent. I prefer a bit of armour, so I tend to only do average in it.
the fact that you can shoot the 50b with a medium on the track wheel and overmatch it is something to say.
i would play 57 heavy instead because you don't lose that much clip dmg but now you have trololo armor and 5s quick clip dump

One thing to note in your second game is that the 50B has horrendous camo, camping on it is asking to get spotted and nuked.
