Went to Germany in 92. Absolutely loved it. We were there visiting cathedrals and castles. My brother was in the army in Germany so we went to visit him. He was our tour guide for the two weeks. A lot of history.
Oh I love to watch river cruises, and that is a beautiful vessel! I travel vicariously through you two, so thanks for taking me along! Haven`t heard of this cruise line before but it`s pretty impressive so far! The food looks to be really well made and presented, with quality ingredients. I`m really looking forward to this series. Love from Vancouver Island.
Looks like a lovely river cruise start. That first lock you went into in Nuremberg is called a guillotine lock. Keep your head! Looking forward to seeing more.
We are excited to follow along on this river cruise adventure! I am captivated with the old worldliness and the boutique ship. It is a beautiful gem that I will take in on every video with you guys- keep them coming PLEASE!! ❤
Well done, Dee & Jay! Loved traveling along with you on the Debussy! Appreciate you documenting our amazing river cruise experience. I look forward to re-living it with you on your videos! Thanks!
Good choice, I've always wanted to take a river cruise! Hope you have lots of fun, and please, keep making these great cruise videos! Rock on, and enjoy each day! 🎉
Wonderful! So looking forward to seeing more to relive memories of Germany when I was stationed just south of Frankfurt and then Stuttgart all those many moons ago! Was there just after 'the wall' came down and the re-unification of Germany..Will be fun seeing the countryside from the perspective of a river cruise(one of the types of tours I didn't 'get to' while over there in the Army)...
Your cabin is gorgeous and bigger than your normal cruise ship cabins, on your on a river cruise, it's going to be hard to go back to a small cabin after this. Enjoy your long cruise Vacy.👋💕🇦🇺
Love all your videos. We went to Germany twice to visit our military son but didn't do a cruise so your video's is certainly a treat. Where do you buy Jay's shirts?
What an amazingly beautiful ship, or are river cruises on boats…??? Your cabin is Wonderful, the bathroom is like mine at home 🙂 I wish I could have some of that amazing German food, even the bread is unique. I’ve been fortunate to grow up eating a good bit of German food as my great grandparents were from Germany and my grandmother cooked her mother’s recipes for years. I’m not sure I can watch every post… I’m so interested in the overall expense and I don’t imagine I could fit it into my budget, but oh my goodness this is going on my bucket list.
A big annual toy show ( for industry people ) is in Nuremberg. We met a couple who had a toy store in the San Francisco area who found it cheaper to go to the one there than the one in NYC
Do they have drink/cocktail packages? Do they have full bar or just wines and beers? Rooms and everything look beautiful and look like great views with those big windows.
Hi Jay ❤ l think recommended carrot seed oil for Rosacea a long time age l noticed you seem to be having a flare up please try it it has worked well for me
Hallo, I wanted to know how the pretzels were. I was hoping that they were good. I got a pretzel in Germany at Epcot and it was dry and tasted stale. I was wondering if that’s how they are in Germany or if Disney just has low quality German pretzels. Danke!
The one we had in Nuremberg seemed a bit mass-produced and not the best, ha ha… we should have chosen a more local establishment… but we had some pretty amazing ones for the rest of the voyage!! :P
I absolutely love watching you guys but I was a little sad to see on this cruise they serve Fois Grais it's so cruel how they obtain this which you may not know. I've written to the cruise line regarding this. Most companies are refraining from serving this. That said I very much enjoy your blogs keep blogging and try and avoid Fois Grais it's so cruel avoid at all costs. Keep cruising guys xxx
Riverside really tried to incorporate activities like you’d find on larger ships and ocean liners. We were impressed! It wasn’t just your “sit around and watch the world go by” river cruise all the time!! :P
Looks absolutely phenomenal!!! The cabins looks top notch and the food 😮 wow 5 star lodgings and food
That cabin bathroom brought tears to my eye, it's absolutely gorgeous and huge!
This seriously has me so emotional. You are literally in the region I was born and raised in! ❤
Your stateroom is wonderful..snack looked great too! I cant wait for the next episode..This trip be a lot of fun🚢🙂

I hate to stop watching. Can't wait for more. What a suite you have, beautiful accomodations, hope they are a comfortable as they appear.
I think I actually could be on there for 80 days! It looks great and so fun! Looking forward to the rest of the series. ❤🎉

Wow, it’s beautiful. I may have to rethink a river cruise!
Always fun to “travel” through your travels!

It’s amazing that one small kitchen can produce so much fabulous food from scratch. Love river cruising!
The galley tour was really interesting and revealed a much larger space than you’d expect! Chef Gareth has a wonderful staff!
A beautiful cabin. I was not familiar with this river cruise line so it is really interesting to learn about them.
I looked up the Mississippi Queen. It's actually an event space! They offer "a touch of America"!!

Beautiful.

How much of the city was destroyed in WW2? Enjoyed the tour
Most of the towns we visited said 85%-97% were destroyed, other than perhaps Bamberg which was basically untouched.
Do they have drink/cocktail packages? Do they have full bar or just wines and beers? Rooms and everything look beautiful and look like great views with those big windows.

Are the cabin walls metal ?

DEE, WHAT'S THE BASE PRICE FOR THIS RIVER CRUISE AND IS AIRFARE FACTORED IN TO THE OVERALL COST?
Most river cruises we’ve seen average about $5k per person for a seven-night sailing, airfare not included.
Beautiful cabin. My family lived in Germany for hundreds of years until Hitler.
Wish i lived in europe
What company did you cruise with?
Riverside Luxury Cruises.
I'd imagine there to be quite a few Catholic churches in Nuremberg, because it is in Bavaria. Granted, not all are amazing Cathedrals.
Jay I thought your pee joke was funny.you make me laught with a lot of your jokes
RUclips stopped my notifications of your videos #@!#
They’re good at doing things like that… yeesh!!

Sorry Dee, but I thought the P joke was funny.
Be prepared to be bored for 7 days.
