I hear you... had my surgery 2 weeks ago today and am struggling with this as im 31 years old and rely on my knees for the work that I do :|
i am a lil over 2 weeks post op rt knee arthroscopy. these exercises are great. i do them everyday at least twice. thank you for posting these. slowly but surely the strength will return. esp since my dr did NOT prescribe physical therapy.
Hi, i too have had knee arthroscopy and i'm curios to know how your recovery has been (to know what to expect).
I am almost three weeks rt knee arthroscopy and meniscus tear and even with exercises my knee is still hurting like the devil. Still with a cane too. Go to Dr. in another week ...,
Would you suggest moving up eventually to do these exercises with resistance bands?
I wouldnt have been able to do these 2 weeks post op. But at 4 weeks it would work :)
I think it’s great we can all access these knee exercises online , I am tomorrow 3 weeks post operative partial meniscus & arthroscopy and removal bone spur . My legs get tired but I am trying , aim to be back at work in august as I am a nurse and I work long days .
Orthopaedic consultant told me I need an knee replacement in the future , so I hope both my knees have a few years in them . Fingers crossed 🤞
How are you doing now?
Today marks 3 weeks after my knee surgery. Lateral meniscus tear, arthritis as well. I will most likely be performing these exercise methods for my recovery.
Great, but no sound.
it is your left leg or right leg?,
I'm 3 weeks post op for both meniscus and ACL,just consulting which exercise is best for me??
Is there no sound?
mam I can't able to do this after removing plaster of one month from knee....what sould i do to free knee ... there is also tight and swelling on knee . It's can't bend after 90 degree help me
how many sets these exercise in a day ?
I know this post is 5 years old but for anyone else needing the information. These are similar to what I got from my NHS physio in UK, 4 weeks after arthroscopy. 4-5 sets building up to 15 reps.
Need music or someone to talk through the exercises!
Not a good idea if you're not allowed to put any weight on your knee for 6 weeks!

Yes of course, but I imagine your physical therapist will precribe a differenet set of exercises for this event
Kind of sus that her knees are covered
Her knees are extending over the front of her feet, during her squats....That’s even bad for good knees! Not watching this video any longer! Going to give it a 👎🏼
Not true! When your knee extends over the front of your foot this works the quad more. If you try and keep your knee behind your foot it works your glutes and hamstring more. This is just general and I am not advising you to do them after meniscus surgery although you can at some point. Make sure you ask your doctor before you do anything.
