What on earth would be the point in copying The Weather Girls original? The purpose here was to make it sound great in commercial clubs, for that period in time - ie 2001. It was a #1 single here that year and this remix was played everywhere.

@@Davey-TheDJ Actually the Millennium Mix of "It's Raining Men" released in 2000 technically wasn't actually "The Weather Girls" either, it was actually by Martha Wash who was formerly from The Weather Girls, but the Millennium Mix wasn't actually a remix of the old 1982 version of the song, it was a completely new "re-recording" of the song by Martha Wash in 2000 and released as the Millennium Mix (also an Almighty Mix) ;-)
