Although this is a great mix the dance format in 1993 was changing and eventually it turned completely into a hip hop r&b station in 1994 great upload however I REALLY would love some HOT 103/97 ones during its great peak years 1987-1991
Yes indeed.nobody said anything about hot 92.first one,then 97 now 103!! But it sucks.when Judy Torres had her Sunday show cut off it fell.later for rap,or the garbage they playing now.i listen to my old school music here on phone..take care,keep jamming...you too Jeff Romanansky..
I was 13 when the station switched formats, but am I remembering correctly that it was a gradual transition - the last year or two of the old format incorporated some hip-hop? I remember at least some of the following artists: K7, Snow, Naughty By Nature, Positive K, Digable Planets, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Kris Kross, House of Pain, Arrested Development, Das EFX. Anyway, I was really bummed but excited to listen to some of these mixes!
