revit is wrong. They can call it whatever they want, but AFAIK there aren't any tees with a branch at 45deg.
      look at page 53 here:
      chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/www.charlottepipe.com/uploads/documents/technical/Plastic_Pipe_Fittings_DC-DWV609.pdf
A sanitary tee has a branch at 90 degs, but it sweeps into the line. At least for the DMV. I can find a dozen good, technical sources that show that fitting that revit says is in the tee class that all show it as a wye.

This is nothing short of brilliant. I feel so stupid. I had changed our p-trap to an elbow, but I never considered changing the wye to a tee. I really don’t know wye 😂. Thanks again for this.

I know! I wish I could take the credit for thinking of this on my own. I learned it from one of my course members! So great to collaborate with others! Wye revit set up the fittings this way is beyond me. But I'm glad I finally have a solution!

These videos are so helpful being new to Revit. Do you have a pipe fittings template for No Hub Pipe? That would be huge, especially if you had Husky Clamps for the fittings. Would love to know how you can draw the pipe and it would automatically draw the clamp every 10' for straight runs. Then you could find all of the instances and get an idea for Stock (rough idea). Keep the videos coming!

I actually get that request a lot. Are you on the construction side of projects? I'm on the design side so there isn't a need for that but I can see the benefits to doing this in construction. Check out my "Find Pipe Length" video. That should get you started. I'll definitely do a video on using no hub couplings in the future!

Is there a way to connect two pipes at different elevations but from the main run going to the branch which is at higher elevation with a wye that is vertical and then go straight up perpendicular on the same plane as main branch and then put a 90 elbow to connect to the higher branch
